I was having issues with my iPhone staying connected to the charging cord. I went in fully expecting repairs would be needed to fix it. Instead Adam suggested a cleaning of the port first. After he cleaned it everything is back to normal. I highly recommend Adam for his honesty and great work! Thanks
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a broken screen on my phone and Sam from UFixIt came directly to my home to repair it. He was incredibly efficient. Sam is an excellent ambassador for UBreakIFix, demonstrating professionalism, kindness, and expertise. I highly recommend his services to anyone needing phone repairs. Outstanding experience!
I came in this morning, 11/20 -without an appointment, and the agent said it would be 2hrs. He took my device and started working on it immediately. It took approx 1.25hrs and the work was completed. My device looks good as new!! Efficient and professional! Highly recommend 👌
Would give ZERO stars if I could. Walked in with only a few very minor scratches on my phone intending to get the screen replaced because it was covered by insurance and walked out with a completely broken phone, wouldn't turn on at all. When I first walked in to pick my phone up after the appointment they handed it over and said something along the lines of "the new screen didn't work out so we put the old one back on." I assumed that was the only issue and the worst was that it had just been a waste of time, but that I would leave with my phone in the same condition that I brought it in. While at the counter I noticed that the screen was extremely dirty looking and I could feel something like small chunks of gunk on it, that had me inspecting my phone further and noticing that the sim card along with the sim card slot was completely missing. They had forgotten to put it back, but that's okay because I simply let the employee know and he quickly took my phone back and went to put the sim card back in. When he came back, I took my phone and headed out to the car. In the car, I tried turning my phone on to which it didn't respond. I thought that maybe the battery had died, so I plugged it into the charger in the car, but still so response. My phone wasn't turning on at all after leaving it at the store, so I went back in to ask what they had done to it. I know that they knew that the phone was already broken, because how did they not check that everything was in working order before returning it to a customer? Yet the employee seemed confused and took the phone to fiddle with for a minute before finally telling me that it was just broken. He said something like "the motherboard short circuited and it couldn't be repaired." I'm not sure why he didn't just start with that instead of hoping that I somehow wouldn't notice that my phone was broken. They told me to just "get a new phone," didn't apologize, or admit that they had made a mistake at all. I was extremely frustrated/upset with this because there were some photos and other things from a few months that I hadn't backed up (I know that's on me for not doing so before, but I didn't know that they would break my phone during a simple screen fix). I had other things to do and I knew that staying there to argue wouldn't achieve anything, so I took the broken phone and left. To anyone reading this, I would stay far away from this location. The way they handled this was completely unprofessional.
Brought in my Pixel 8 July 12th for a warranty covered screen replacement. After bringing home and putting on a screen protector, a dead pixel appeared which grew to be a much bigger circle of dead pixels with lines going down the display. I assumed I caused the issue initially from putting too much pressure applying the screen protector somehow, until a month later I went to fix it myself with a new screen I purchased. I noticed one of the pins was bent internally with a point contacting and puncturing the display exactly where the dead pixel appeared confirming I was not the cause of the display breaking. I'm sure this was an accident and that this shop is reputable, they were probably just rushed that day. I'm leaving a bad review because I've been unable to get a response from the email contact I was given over the phone about the situation. I feel this is fair for the $150 it cost me for purchasing my current display.
