I wanted to leave a review even though I’m no longer a patient there. I recently tried a new dentist, and honestly, it just isn’t the same. I was dropped from the practice after missing an appointment, which was completely my mistake, but I don’t want that to take away from how great this office really is. Dr. Attardi is an excellent dentist… professional, thorough, and genuinely caring. I always felt comfortable and well taken care of. For example, I had an infection in my tooth (swollen lymph node and tooth pain) and texted him. He was on vacation. Instead of ignoring me, he called me and chat with me for 20 minutes and sent in a prescription. My hygienist was also fantastic, friendly, and gentle, and I truly appreciated the quality of care I received at every visit. Only hygienist I’ve had that my oral health improved from visit to visit. Even though I’m not able to go there anymore, I still recommend this office to friends and family because they really are a great dental practice. I wish I still had them as my providers. For context, I had been scheduled for a root canal and ended up missing the appointment after waking up late. I didn’t reschedule right away, and when I later tried to, I learned I had been dropped as a patient. I woke up and was like ‘oh crap I messed up’ and instead of saying anything immediately, I called a week later. Immature and irresponsible on my end. That was on me, and I understand why it happened. I’d honestly do anything to be their patient again. I messed up so bad. Clearly this is my fault. Don’t want anybody to think they did something wrong while simultaneously expressing how much I wish I could reverse what I did. I wanted to share this because my experience with the office itself was always excellent, and I would still recommend them without hesitation. Lesson learned on my end.
My new-patient appointment was great! Friendly staff, from the office to the clinicians. My hygienist Angela was thorough and gentle, and she did a great job getting all my x-rays. Dr. Marino was thorough and gentle with his exam, too. I had an excellent experience and will continue my care with this office!
The team at Dr. Vella Dentistry have been truly great and a blessing. I would like to say thank you to Tina, Holly, Beth and Heather. Over the past 6 months it has taken me to deal with a broken tooth. From extraction to replacement the stafff has been wonderful, caring, sympathetic, and accomodating. Dr. Vella has really put together a wonderful team.
Vincent Vella Dentistry truly exceeded my expectations. As a first-time client, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. From the initial call to schedule my appointment to checkout, everything was smooth, easy, and extremely well organized. I worked with Dr. Marino, along with Tina, Holly, and Beth, and every single person was welcoming, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to clearly explain what was going on with my teeth, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable and informed every step of the way. You can really tell they care about their patients and take pride in what they do. Highly recommend Vincent Vella Dentistry to anyone looking for a top-tier dental experience.
STOP LOOKING!!! THIS IS THE PLACE IF YOU HAVE A PHOBIA!!!! I went to 4 different doctors who claimed to be good with people with dental phobia. None of them made me feel like this! I found Dr. Vella through a friend who's husband is also phobic. The staff is so calm and understanding and always asks you what you can tolerate or says tell me when you need me to stop. The first time I went I could hardly open my mouth for the hygienist I was so scared. I had an infected tooth and was in SERIOUS pain. She was very calm and waited for me to be ready without making me feel any pressure to do it. I made an appointment to have IV medication to have my tooth extracted. That morning I was terrified! I took my Ativan but could hardly walk up the stairs. When I got there everyone was very sweet. I started to panic and asked them not to put the IV in right away. They said ok no problem and started talking to me about the music I wanted to hear. The next thing I knew the IV was in and I didn't even notice (very good at it) while I was picking the music. They let my husband stay with me until I fell asleep. I don't remember getting to the car but had an amazing nap and woke up that evening at home. To my surprise I was in very little pain having a wisdom tooth and a molar removed that day. They use your blood to create a clot that they put in the socket. I have had other teeth pulled in the past and delt with a great deal of pain for days. This time I only took Advil for a day or so and was fine! Most seriously this is the place for you if you are phobic! I was so calm the last time I was there that I wasn't even nervous when they took a full x-ray panel. Something I have not been able to do since I was a kid and I did it there without any medication. This time when my tooth chipped I didn't wait 4 years until it was a mess and emergency I called them up and they took me in that day. No matter how phobic you are try this doctors office! They are truly AMAZING!!!
