Great place to workout at. Staff is friendly. Trainers are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. My favourite machine is the arsenal pec deck. It’s hands down the best pec fly machine I’ve ever used.
I had a free one-hour coaching session included with my membership, and I’m really glad it was with Vanessa. She was super funny, very easy to talk to, and made the whole session feel comfortable instead of awkward or stressful. She explained things clearly, corrected my form, and kept the workout fun and motivating the entire time. The hour honestly flew by. If you’re new to the gym or just want a coach who knows how to train and keep the energy high, I’d definitely recommend her the best coach I've ever had so far.
I had a very disappointing experience at this World Gym location. During a recent visit, staff were rude and unprofessional and attempted to force me to leave about 20 minutes before the posted closing time. When I questioned the early closure, instead of handling the concern respectfully, I was threatened with membership cancellation. The interaction escalated unnecessarily and created a hostile environment. I did not request to cancel my membership. Any cancellation that followed was initiated by staff, not by me. I have since requested that all automatic payments be stopped immediately, as continuing to charge after cancelling a member in this manner would be inappropriate. Additionally, this location advertises 24-hour access, which is misleading. In reality, the gym closes at 8:00 PM and reopens at 8:00 AM on weekend , which was not clearly disclosed at signup. I expect better professionalism, honest communication about operating hours, and respectful treatment of paying members. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.
I always feel welcomed by the friendly staff at this gym. At this gym, the staff kill you with kindness. The service is top-tier. Hader was especially nice to us as well as the other staff! I've never come across such kind staff at a gym. It's easy to see that they get treated very well by their managers at their jobs. There is a number of unique machines that I've never seen before. The room feels quite spacious and comfortable. The gym has an eco-friendly approach. Cloths and a spray bottle are available for cleaning gym equipment. There is lots of varying weights available, really heavy weights too. There is also a small women's section and I will say though the stretching area is quite small if you don't have access to the WGX room. The stretching area also feels as though it is in the middle of nowhere. So, it really just depends on what your needs are. There's a cafe available and pre-workout is available for purchase at a reasonable price. So is the protein.
I recently signed up for the gym with the help of Haider and Jordan, and I have to say the experience was excellent. Both of them were super welcoming, professional, and genuinely cared about getting me started on the right path. Haider was patient and thorough in explaining the sign-up process, making sure I understood all the details and felt comfortable. Jordan went the extra mile by giving me tips and answering my questions about workouts, which really made me feel supported from the start.
