Absolutely amazing experience and a pleasure to do business with. Helped me to find a replacement band for my vintage Hamilton watch. He made sure to advise me on a selection that would match the style of the time which I greatly appreciate.

Mo is awesome! I brought 2 watches in. One needed a new battery, the other a link removed from the bracelet. I parked at a meter that had 19 minutes left on it. I read the reviews here prior to coming, I figured I’d be okay. And I was more than okay thanks to Mo. Mo was friendly, professional, and quick! I was in and out with 2 working watches in less than 5 minutes. Thank you Mo, I highly recommend About Time and I will be back.
Truly a hidden gem in Hillcrest. It's very evident when someone has a true passion for what they do, and it's clear that Mo from About Time has found his calling. He's very personable, fair, and takes great pride in what he does as a watchmaker. I had an abused Hamilton watch from the late 1920s that he serviced, repaired, and brought back to life. His goal is preservation and letting the timepieces tell a story. If you need the appearance of an old watch to be restored to brand new, this probably isn't the shop for you. He's happy to explain his philosophy on preservation vs restoration, and it's worth listening to. The price for the work was less than I expected and I couldn't be happier with the result. Thank you!
It really is a skill to take care of a watch. I wish I came here all along. Movado battery replaced today. :) Unfortunately the last place I took my michele watch to broke the screw heads off when they over tightened. Never said anything. I'll end up shipping this one to Michele to fix what the other place broke. Quality. Excellent workmanship. Fair pricing. I'll be a loyal customer here!!
