They don’t have Dr see you. It was some provider they make you see. Then whatever tests they run, they want you to come back and review the results even if you are doing better, they won’t release the results unless you come and see them. This seems like a ploy to just get an extra appointment and make extra money. The whole place seems to be run purely for money and not as a health care business. At Stanford and Pamf or any lab , everybody releases the labs directly to patient and not push you to come for an appointment for no reason. Seems they’re just want to make extra appointments and have the other sick patients waiting in line. That’s not how the urgent care is supposed to be working.
My PC physician was not available so had to go here. I checked reviews and found them highly rated. This was my first visit to Action urgent care. The front office staff, medical assistant who ushered me in and took my vitals and the Dr were very kind, patient and efficient. Great experience.
We gave blue shield, but they want to charge my wife a 200$ deductible upfront. Meaning she has to pay that first to see a doctor. She went to a different place and they only charge her 35$ copay. Which is normal everywhere else.
Sandy C received us warmly and cared for my special needs child very gently. She explained every step of the check up.. she is an excellent caregiver! The provider was Robert G. who was very kind and explained what his approach was to finding out the causes of my childs symptoms.. we felt comforted and grateful!
I recently visited Action Urgent Care and was fortunate to be helped by Sandy C., one of the medical assistants there. From the moment she greeted me, Sandy was professional, kind, and incredibly efficient. She took the time to explain each step of the process and made sure I was comfortable throughout my visit. What really stood out was her calm demeanor and genuine compassion — qualities that make a huge difference when you’re not feeling your best. Sandy listened attentively to my concerns and treated me with respect and care, which made the entire experience much more reassuring. It’s clear that Sandy truly cares about her patients and takes pride in her work. Action Urgent Care is lucky to have someone like her on the team. Highly recommend!
