I trained at Alex Martins BJJ for about a month while I was in town for work, and the experience was fantastic. The culture here is amazing—everyone is friendly, welcoming, and genuinely supportive. The owner treated me like I’d been part of the gym for years, and the instruction was excellent. If I lived in Dallas, I’d 100% train here full-time. Highly recommend this place.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to the entire staff coach, Alex, for the incredible opportunity he provided for my grandson. When he wasn’t feeling well and doubted his ability to participate in the world-class competition, Alex offered him unwavering comfort and encouragement. Despite his doubts, he managed to secure a podium finish twice. Every time he returned home, he would brag about the immense joy and excitement he experienced during the competition. We truly appreciate your warm welcome and support in welcoming him into the team. Also Will be signing up my other granddaughter soon.Continue to be amazing and Blessed.
Alex Martins and his team create a family-friendly, nurturing atmosphere where children and adults develop their discipline and skills. I practiced Judo growing up in Brazil and found it extremely helpful in teaching me confidence and self-control. Now my grandkids attend Alex Martins academy and are having a fantastic experience. 5 stars all the way.
Alex Martins BJJ is high level academy that produces champions! They have amazing programs for all ages and all skill levels. Just stop by and you will see why this is a 5 star gym. Alex is such a great guy and his academy reflects his hard work and dedication to the craft. He is so passionate and technically advanced; his coaches carry that through all of his programs. He truly cares about all of his students, including all of his affiliate gyms. Anyone in the area should consider this gym as a top choice. Great for all ages / men and women!
Been training for about 3 years now and one of favorite things to do while traveling is visit other gyms. My cousin has been training at this gym for about 8 months now so he brought me in for 2 classes and they were great. I took a noon nogi class as well as a morning gi class and they were both such a great time. Everyone is so helpful and nice, the teaching style is great, and the head coach, professor Alex is such an amazing person. I will definitely be returning whenever i visit Dallas again!
