Scott does a great job cutting hair. Can manage many different styles and builds great rapport with repeat customers over time.
Finally, I found a barber that can do blends and fade really well for my boys! My husband and boys will not be going anywhere else but here from now on for their haircuts!! Before and after for my oldest!
It’s always nice to visit barbershops while traveling, I found myself in Virginia getting ready for a wedding and popped into American Barbef Lounge where I met the owner Scott. Such a gentleman and a fine barber… Gave me the cut I requested at a reasonable price. The shop is very convenient and next to a popular café with great food and coffee (Stella’s) so you can get a couple of things done at once in one location. Nice to have met you and good luck with your business.
WORST HAIRCUT EVER Took my son to get a trim. My son literally said “ I want to keep it long I just want a trim”. After taking 2 cuts from the bangs he asked my son if that was enough, my son said yea that’s fine, but Scott felt he needed more cut. He ended up cutting so much hair off, my son now looks like a porcupine. It has to be the worst haircut ever. I’m not sure how “I want to keep it long” he didn’t get. Will never return again. If people don’t know how to cut Asian style hair they should really say they don’t know how to cut that type of hair it will save the pain of living with a bad hair cut right before graduation pictures. The picture was before and after.
Let me tell you. This is the place when it comes to barbershop. Scott is the Man. He cut my hair and I haven't felt this fresh and good in quite a while. I would go out of my way to come here for a hair cut. This is my new normal place now. You could book online as well if you want a reserved seat. I am happy that I came here. If you haven't came here then what are you waiting for. He does military discounts as well. Great guy. I wish there were more people like him.
