If you care about your pet don't come here. Firstly the older woman at the front likes to fear mogul into unnecessary appt. My pet shakes of terror when going to that vet and does not do that after I took her to another vet, (she had shots and was happy.) This place is over priced and the dr. just seem to hate animals. Lastly, completely lied about my dog being underweight. I brought her to another vet, and they told me she is superb condition and correct weight class. I will not be going here any longer.

I was 15 minutes late at 2 so they weren't able to see me at all that day. It was the last day I could take my adopted kitten for free. So the review is mostly my fault. I don't have enough data either way to give them a good review. The receptionist was kind and courteous. She's a 5 Star employee no matter what else happened.

If I could give negative stars, I would. The appointment was made because he wouldn't eat and was lethargic. Prior to taking our 13 yr old cat in, who we adopted 2 yrs ago, we faxed all his medical records, including notes on his lack of muscle in his back legs and that he has no teeth, he also was diagnosed with renal disease prior to our adoption. The vet was dry, callous, and didn't listen to our concerns. Automatically started pushing high price blood tests as if she is a used car salesman, one test was 800$. Basically scolded us for letting him eat our kittens food, which is smaller and he can chew it. We proceeded to ask for any recommendations on other vet prescribed food he can eat. He was treated for an infection on his chin and given antibiotics. Not reading his files or listening to my wife and I about his inability to chew, we were given tablets. Not being able to get the medication into his system I called and asked for advice and then they tell me it can be in a liquid form. Almost two weeks later, no calls on his status. Do NOT take your pet here! They will not treat them with kindness or love.

EDIT : I was a client for a year, transferred my doggy to dr Kyra's care from VCA. Even though dr Kyra told me there is nothing more they can do for him due to his serious back disease, she still continued the laser therapy, and after the last session, my doggy Ichigo was cured for 1 last day - when he spent the entire day walking, running and digging, and then just to be euthanized the next day. It was amazing to see him coming back to life for one last day thanks to dr Kyra and the care she provided. Dr Kyra personally sent me a handwritten sympathy card. Dr Kyra and her pet nurses were great with my dog Ichigo and my cat Gato. When I adopted a new baby cat from DDLF two months later, he was sick, and when I called to set up an appointment for him, I was certain dr Kyra will take him into his care too, but unfortunately due to conflicting schedules I was told they would not honor the DDFL coupon and would only take him if I paid the $89 fee, as they do not wish to extend the care coupon for 48 hours more. When I asked for a referral to a different vet, they said they do not work with anyone, and I can call a DDFL to find a new vet. As much as I understand that this is a money business, I was a little surprised they would rather lose a client with 2 animals than work with me. Therefore my two cats had to find a new vet. I found a new vet at seven hill hospital, my kitten visit was cheaper, my experience was fantastic. I am glad Aurora hills refused to honor the coupon - I was able to find a better vet and move all my pets there. OLD REVIEW: This was my first visit at the Aurora Hills after I adopted my cat from the DDFL and they asked me to schedule a free visit for my cat. We were checked in, everyone was pleasant, we didn't have to wait, just went in right away. Doctor checked out my cat and they even took a photo of her and gave it to me.

We were referred to Aurora Hills and Dr. Reilly by the Denver Dumb Friends referral program, and couldn't be happier. Dr. Reilly knew right away the 1st time we took Buddy in that we had a "special" dog. He was transferred here from New Mexico where he likely was used as a bait dog & for target practice 😢 Dr Reilly explained New Mexico reservation dogs and what happens to them there 😟 He is a very anxious & scared boy, especially if you get him out of the house & out of his routine. His anxiety escalates on the drive so he's a barking mess by the time we get there. But Dr Reilly and her staff are SO patient and still call him SWEET when we leave😂 They take the time and really show how much they care about your family pets. It's always a joy to call and have Mary answer the phone - her greetings ALWAYS makes me smile! 😍😄 Thank you all for the wonderful work you do & care you provide ❤ Service could never be better! Dr. Reilly is so attentive and her staff is amazing! Thank you Brandon for being so cool with Buddy's snap when you reached for his paw. He's still apologetic & remorseful 😓 He wants you & Dr. Reilly to know he's really a good boy, just comes from a hard past - and loves you all. Earlier feedback when asked what AHAH can do better.....Nothing ever! They are all the greatest! Buddy appreciates the care, and understanding of his needs, just like Paul and I do!
