This review is specifically for Korie Vannerus. I don’t have much experience with and can’t speak directly to Axis Mundi, but I can speak very highly of Korie and the services she provides. She is a really wonderful, thoughtful, and well-informed professional, and she has helped me tremendously through a difficult time in my life.

I worked with a therapist at Axis Mundi Center for Mental Health for over a year. She helped me make some important life changes and offered a fee that was affordable. Highly recommend.

Axis Mundi is both a counseling center and a training program for counselor interns. There are many skilled and talented licensed and unlicensed clinicians on staff. They provide affordable, flat-rate, and sliding scale therapy and counseling which is pretty rare in the Bay Area. I’ve worked with several clinicians at Axis Mundi and I have seen firsthand their commitment to their work and training and their compassionate clinical care. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

I was supposed to do a first meeting call with a therapist there. They straight up ghosted me out of nowhere after THEY had forgotten and missed our scheduled appointment! Really unprofessional. Seeing how part of why I came there was to deal with abandonment issues, I don't know why I would pay to be abused.
