I absolutely LOVE Bad Madge !! Just had to pop on here to share my adoration for this place, the entire team, and Tanya !! I moved to South Park in 2022 and quickly adopted Bad Madge as my default FAVORITE store due to the fine selection of Vintage Fabulousness, stellar customer service, groovy vibes !!! There's always sooooo much going on here. Bad Madge has come to represent the Heart & Soul of our amazing neighborhood, my home sweet home !!!
Lonnggg overdue.I"ll try to get it all in.Yrs ago bought an item from me offered me about no more than 40.00 turned around and sold item for 250.00 PLUS! I understand you got to hike it..but then yrs later disrespected when I went to visit her store dropped over 500.00 on first visit.Was severely taken.Everything was severely overpriced one piece rusted quickly I was told they were artisan items & told a story by the young man attending 2 me.It was a bogus story.They were wholesale items! Was not given my points when i returned on 2nd AND LAST visit.Lost a very good generous customer because of here SEVERE GREED. NO returns not flexible lacks integrity.Done.All these positive reviews are hard to believe. Could be something nice was done to regain trust, lots of other ways positive reviews go up, ( interesting that only positive reviews since so many negatives) I believe the negatives are more accurate, regardless did not change my own nor others experience with her & her biz.They also texted to ask what happened? I have honest feedback, never got a response.I love pple and support local biz,but this is not cool to be like this.So much need and yet so much greed.
Went into my favorite vintage store and was warmly greeted by the owner/cashier! I was on the hunt for a grad dress and stumbled upon this beauty, absolutely wonderful experience being there. I had a wonderful conversation with those that were helping me and I cannot wait to wear this out. Definitely check this place out if you are in San Diego/South Park area, it is worth browsing their beautiful vintage pieces. Absolutely amazing, 10/10!
I saw a blue velvet gown in December and left. Then I thought about it but …it was gone! I went in to Bad Madge’s 3 or 4 months ago, looking through the racks with my friend. I told her the story she related it to Matthew (Bad Madge customer service expert) while we were there. He stuck his hand in the same rack we were perusing, and pulled out THE blue gown! Yep I tried it on, bought it and promised pictures! Thanks again Matthew and Bad Madge you made me feel special for an exceptionally important occasion.
We have been going to Bad Madge for 5 years now and it is one of the best shops in San Diego! If you love vintage you need to check this store out. They have vintage furniture, clothing, glassware, tiki glasses, and plenty of new/vintage inspired items! Fantastic curation going on here and everything is beautifully arranged. We had been eyeing two chairs made by local South Park furniture maker Jose Eguez! These chairs are Caribbean Rosewood and they are perfect! Tanya helped us out with making our decision and delivered them today to our North Park condo. Tanya has impeccable customer service, her team who works at Bad Madge are also kind, welcoming, and helpful. We love these chairs! Cannot wait to have these chairs for years to come. The workmanship on these is so impressive. Before you buy from some mass produced furniture shop online try shopping local and support Bad Madge! The pricing is more than reasonable compared to pottery barn or crate and barrel. The winter South Park walkabout is coming up and let me tell you Christmas at Bad Madge is well worth checking out.
