My online order was canceled by their algorithm. I received no notification of the cancellation. I had to call customer service myself after waiting a few weeks. After that, 2 of my 3 pick up orders were cancelled due to the item not actually being on stock. Now 2 of the 5 items I originally ordered and now sold out. Hands down the least satisfying experience I have had in years. I am moving on to another retailer.
They had an engaging interview with Jason Dohring and his experience with the book "Dianetics: Modern Science of Mental Health". It was intriguing. Some "Veronica Mars" fans were there, so I learned about that show, and that was another plus! The crowd was upbeat, Jason connected with us, and there was this amazing pizza afterwards - it was great! Afterwards, I spent some time looking around at the many books there. It'd been a while, and it was good to hang out in that space.
Ordered a book online through Google. Entering the store was a treat. They have curated excellent toys, games, books. I'll definitely be coming back for holiday gifts, Birthdays, etc.
Stopped by Barnes & Noble while traveling and it did not disappoint! The store was very clean, the staff were super kind, and the selection was solid, especially for travel books, which was exactly what I was hunting for. I had a great time browsing and will definitely be back whenever I’m in town. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a welcoming, well-stocked bookstore.
The customer service employee, the cashier and the manager were all very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the 2 books I was looking to purchase were not available in store but they were able to order them for me and have them shipped to my home address. The store is clean and organized and the displays are asthetically pleasing.
