I brought my Previa transmission here 10yrs ago. It had a freshly rebuilt engine and the shop I was at decided to ignore the transmission (I asked them to have it rebuilt while the engine was out). Anyways, I brought here, we set up a time to drop it and within 3 days it was done. I was sent pictures of the burnt planetary gears. So everything was changed out and also a shift kit added. I swear I made this review a long time ago, but maybe Google erased it. Even to this day, the Previa is running strong.
Tom has done 7 of our vehicles transmissions, from rebuilds to repairs. I trust him and have a great rapport with him. I also always see older 50's cars in there so I know people trust him with those bad ole boys. Thank you Tom for the great relationship we have. Cheers Nick
The service was excellent and the van is running better than when we got it. He was knowledgeable and a much better price rebuilding our transmission than the previous place who just recommended spending way more for a new part.
The guys at Bayshore Transmission were recommended by a few mechanics I know to overhaul my work van. It worked great for about a week then I noticed something wasn't right again. Brought it back to Tom and he adjusted and its running like new again. Tom stood by his work and was very sensitive to my schedule. Did I mention I'm getting more miles to the gallon now! Definitely going back to Bayshore again but not for this van. I'll have to find a new project car to bring next time. Oh and thanks for the 49er schedule, Red and Gold Baby!!!
