Very disappointed in service and extravagant cost! We considered this our neighborhood jeweler until my son was just charged $40 to have one link taken out of a watch he got for Christmas. Seems outrageous for 3 minutes of work. I called and they will not adjust the charge. We will not be returning for business. I feel he was very taken advantage of.
Caveat emptor. I decided to cancel an overpriced job on the same day. Mr. Isaacs told me he had started. I said don't work on it further; I will pick it up tomorrow. He then said it was finished, same day, after I repeatedly told him not to do it. He minimally reset one stone and is charging $8800, without conferring about design or using the additional gold I left. Like another recent customer, I am a senior citizen. Stay away from this store.
Belle Meade Jewelers are my go to jeweler for over 20 years! They repair my watches, fix my tangled necklaces (and don’t charge me! I buy the most amazing jewelry that you will never see in any jewelry store, they buy diamonds if I don’t want to keep pieces I have had for a long time and don’t suit me anymore! It’s family owned and they are like family to me and I would never go anywhere for buying, fixing selling any jewelry! 5 stars! Scott Isaac and his staff are always fun and kind and I enjoy hanging out there chatting for as long as they let if they are too busy! It’s a home away from home ❤️
I cannot say enough good things about this jewelry store! The jeweler here is an absolute genius when it comes to jewelry repair. I’ve been several times to have pieces fixed, and every single time I’m impressed with his knowledge, skill, and speed. He’s not only incredibly talented but also so kind and approachable. He takes the time to explain what needs to be done, and then somehow gets it done faster than you’d expect—without ever compromising on quality. You can tell he truly cares about his craft and his customers. If you need any jewelry repaired—or just want to know your pieces are in the hands of someone who really knows what they’re doing—this is absolutely the place to go. I’ll never take my jewelry anywhere else!
My experience with Belle Meade Jewelry was fantastic. The quality of service provided during a diagnostic and servicing of an antique pocket watch was beyond what I expected. Being able to see detailed and magnified examinations on a large screen and being treated with respect and kindness shows me that this is a business run with passion. Not only was the watch serviced and returned to me within 3 weeks for a very reasonable price, but Scott generously welded a disconnected piece on its chain when I arrived to pick it up. Based on my experience, there is no reason this would not be the first place I visit when I need services that they provide.
