We had an incredible experience at Blue Bird Tattoo in Jersey City, NJ. After driving all the way from Nassau County, NY, they were kind enough to accept us as a walk-in, and we’re so glad they did. The shop was extremely clean, well-organized, and clearly maintained with high standards, which immediately put us at ease—especially since this was the first tattoo experience for two individuals. Jessica was our artist and did an absolutely amazing job. Another artist, Jessie, was also incredibly friendly and welcoming, even though she wasn’t the one tattooing us. Jessica was patient, professional, and incredibly precise. The artwork was clean, detailed, and much less painful and faster than we expected. We were so impressed that we made an appointment for a second visit, and once again, the experience was outstanding. We found this shop through a Google search, and the reviews we read matched exactly what we experienced. Even though we have shops closer to home, we would absolutely return to Blue Bird Tattoo without hesitation. Highly recommend!

I am so happy with my tattoos! Jessie was immensely accommodating, taking the time & effort to understand what I wanted and the vibe I was going for. Absolutely nailed both pieces! She was so patient, answering all of my silly questions, and made the whole experience so swift and comfortable. Will be coming back for sure !
this is my second time coming here for a tattoo and both experiences were amazing! i got my childhood stuffed animal tattooed and he came out perfect! i definitely recommend coming here
We were visiting from San Diego and toward the end of our trip decided to get a last-minute fine line matching tattoos. We reached out and spoke to Jessie to see if they accepted walk-ins and if they had time for us and they did! We were in the shop within 20 minutes of the call. The shop itself is so clean and aesthetically beautiful. Jessie was such a diamond! Super kind, welcoming, and made the whole experience smooth and comfortable. I’m so happy we didn’t go anywhere else. Highly recommend if you’re looking for fine line work and a great vibe! You won’t regret it!
