Maria is amazing — she is such a kind person and an amazing floral artist! I was very impressed by her professionalism and her warmth. I needed some long stem calla lily bouquets for a bridal editorial shoot and she made two stunning bouquets that looked identical to the inspiration photo I provided (if not better). She was incredibly flexible on timing for pick up and I can tell she cares deeply about the quality of the florals she provides and ensuring her customers are happy. I will absolutely be returning in the future.
I chose Flor y Cafe out of all the florists in Jersey City because of 1. The name and 2. It’s run by a mother and daughter team and 3. The reviews were sweet, suggesting a real caring partnership in choosing and ordering the flowers to be sent. My son-in-law had surgery and I wanted to send him flowers. I liked one of her photos of a bouquet especially because it looked to me like she had gone out and picked flowers and stuck them in a vase that didn’t distract at all from the beauty of the flowers. Long stems, clear I colored glass tall vase…. But it was more expensive than I wanted to spend. I told Maria my budget and she worked with me and I got exactly what I wanted. She was so gracious and delightful. Made me wish I lived there so I could use her shop more often! She even delivered them the same day even though we finished up the transaction fairly late in the afternoon. I am really grateful to know someone like her. And that she owns a flower shop makes it even better. I would recommend you support this little enterprise. The photo wasn’t taken with the thought of it going on line…. My son-in-law said it’s the most beautiful bouquet he’s ever seen. And my daughter, by the way, said she feels the bouquet must have been chosen for HER. Very sweet.
Flor y Cafe did an absolutely amazing job! The flowers were absolutely gorgeous, and my best friend was completely obsessed with them. They were the perfect way to celebrate her engagement, so fresh, beautifully arranged, and full of love. Thank you for making such a special moment even more beautiful! What an excellent experience! The amount of positive energy is pouring out this place. You can come here and have a delicious cup of house brew coffee. As well as and array of bouquets and flower assortments that are astounding in itself. This is a very personal business you feel home when you come here. Thank you for always taking care of my meticulous needs 😂 .
Simply spectacular ❤️🌹, when we walked in to the shop we could feel the atmosphere, the warmest welcome, the sincerity and everything about the owners, Lovely Maria and her mom will help you with love and they will make sure that you have an amazing event. They are talented, super nice and lovely. And their work is just spectacular. Don’t forget to try their amazing coffee, it is something special as well 😊
