Bus drivers pay no attention almost hit my car on the highway because they don’t use their mirrors. Also they dont pay attention to a honking horn trying to let them know that some one is right besides them while driving. Thank goodness I was paying attention or they would be really having a bad day do better bus driver 434

Dale Jennings was an excellent driver. Very personable, responding to messages fast, and picked us up and dropped us off all throughout the city. The bus was in pristine condition with great AC.

Update: We initially had a tour booked for a horse farm tour but had an issue with the bus the day of the tour and had to reschedule. Bluegrass tours stepped up to fix the problem and I think went above and beyond to correct the issue when it was brought to their attention. I also have to give them a big hand for being safety minded as the day of the new tour they found a tire on the bus we were supposed to take had a cut so they switched buses. They let me know that morning that we would have a different bus than scheduled. They weren't kidding and sent an amazing full size sleeper bus! Hands down one of the most comfortable rides I have ever had. Makes me not want to travel any other way. I would definitely use them again in the future if I had a need. Previous Post: Bluegrass Tours donated a Horse Farm Tour for 14 to a charity that I had bid and won. I thought this would be a fun event for family and close friends. When I called to schedule, everything went smoothly and was given a few different potential options for dates. After selecting a date I was given a confirmation and eventually an itinerary. The day before I get a call from the guide asking about the route and stating that because we had booked the afternoon, Old Friends Farm puts their horses up at 2:30 and Keeneland puts their horses up at 10AM. This was information that was never relayed during booking that would have changed decision on booking an afternoon tour. The guide did suggest showing up a little bit early to make sure that we could see the horses at Old Friends and then visit a local horse farm instead of Keeneland so that we could see some horses. This sounded like an okay plan to me and I knew she was trying to give the best tour possible. On the day of the tour she shows up as expected and we board the bus and get ready to take off, and the bus won’t start. Our tour never left the house! The guide was unable to get ahold of the maintenance person on call. This would have left her stranded or with a large tow bill. Luckily we are car people and had a large jump starter to start the bus. At this point it didn’t make sense to continue as it likely wouldn’t restart after the first stop. Things happen, I get it, but I also don’t run a transportation business that depends on vehicles working. Here is where the 1star comes in and I will update the review after everything is resolved and the tour happens. There was ZERO follow up on Monday from BGT, which surprised me. On Tuesday, I call in and there is zero apology or anything along the lines of it. The customer service representative even acknowledge that she already knew what had happened. One member of our group spent a vacation day for the tour that didn’t happen. In addition, I missed out on a event I would have liked to attend but didn’t schedule because of this. So far there was no attempt to make amends or help correct the problem. I requested a list of potential options be emailed to me, but I am unsure if or when that will happen. I don’t know if I am getting not as good treatment because it was a donated item or if this is standard practice. I’m pretty upset by the lack of empathy for the loss of an afternoon that everyone had planned and the fact that there was no contact on the first work day after the weekend.

I am the Founder of Patriots Landing, a rural, faith based Veterans woodshop located in Williamstown, KY. We had the honor of welcoming one of the Blue Grass Tours to our place this morning for the first time with a group from Oregon. From top to bottom, it was an incredible experience. Our bus driver, Dale, did an amazing job helping all his guests and ensuring they were all taken care of. We are so very humbled that Blue Grass Tours decided to stop by and I assure you, every single passenger on that bus had a wonderful experience. God Bless you all. Joe Montgomery.
