I had always been interested Tai Chi but never tried it until a friend invited me to Body and Brain in Scarsdale. I was immediately hooked. The studio is clean and welcoming. I felt mental and physical benefits immediately. Bama Kim genuinely cares about every person in the studio and her warmth enhances every class.
These classes are fantastic. I love the variety of Tai Chi, yoga, meditation, and breathwork offered in each session. I try to attend as many as possible, and the welcoming staff makes every visit a pleasure.
I have been attending Tai Chi for several months now. Referred by Mayo Clinic, i started attending as part of my cancer therapy. Now many months later, I am cancer free and the classes were definitely part of my body healing. My wife joins me weekly and we love the classes. We do other forms of excercise and Tai Chi is amoung the most enjoyable. We will continue to train and enjoy the healing benefits. Thank you Master Kim.
I had a wonderful experience with the Tai-chi/KiGong class. The space is very welcoming, and the class was well-paced. I felt a difference in my energy I built and cultivated throughout the class, more than in other tai-chi classes I have taken. They also have workshops and books to help you align and balance your energy centers (chakras and chi) & emphasize the importance and power of your brain for focus, setting goals, and keeping the mind involved in healing the body (brain-body connection).
How magical! ✨ I just took my 200 yoga teacher training this year and decided to take a class here as part of my self discovery journey. I learned new things as well as some things that were similar. Heres the best part- you really feel the energy! I felt that magic deep in my soul ✨ I was giggling and smiling to myself with how happy and safe i felt! 10/10 You dont need to be a yogi to attend! All levels really are welcome 💕 Im a midsize girl and i was able to do the whole class without feeling discouraged ✨ 🙏✨💕
