Bookish es una librería acogedora ubicada en 520 W Olive Ave, Fresno, CA 93728, en el Tower District. Una encantadora mezcla de títulos nuevos y usados, desde ficción hasta no ficción, libros para niños, álbumes y una sección de autores locales, además de la posibilidad de encargar títulos difíciles de encontrar. El espacio acoge eventos con artistas locales y cuenta con una estación de café y agua y una pequeña área de regalos con productos locales. So cute and some great gems there. Not only books, but local goods as well! Very kind and helpful owner that loves what she does. Dont hesitate to stop in!
A very unique bookstore. They have books that are fiction to non-fiction, albums, bookmarks, kid's books, and more. There is a section featuring local authors. The atmosphere is inviting with tables and chairs for one to sit and read. They will also order books at your request. This is great when looking for a particular book that is hard to find. Events are held with local artists as well. I highly suggest this bookstore when touring the Tower District area in Fresno.
I cannot hype up this amazing bookstore enough over the past two years I have seen it continue to be added too, rearranged, and decorated to the nines. I have never walked through the door and not walked back out empty handed. The selection from local authors, established authors, VHS tapes, vinyl records, sheet music, jewelry, and handmade pieces from the bookstore owner herself. There really is something for everyone at any age to enjoy I’m this incredible bookstore. Not to mention that there is something at this bookstore that I feel would only happen in the Bay are or in LA. There’s a tattoo parlor. It is the most incredible experience as both a book nerd and a tattoo enthusiast. It makes me feel like Fresno has been given something so cool to add to itself.
This is one of the cutest and most welcoming book shops in Fresno! I would classify it as a hidden Gem, as it is near the DMV on Olive in the Tower District and is easy to miss, so drive slow. Once you walk in, you see hanging books from the ceiling, little reading nooks throughout the shop. There is a cute gift shop section, with mugs, stickers etc. The shop is organized by categories, children's, self help, history, etc. The books are all very reasonably priced. The prices reflect a true used book shop, I find some used book stores are way overpriced. The owners are very kind and will help you find what you're looking for. There is even a little coffee and water station in the shop. It could definitely spend a day there reading and shopping for books. ☺️ Be sure to check them out and support them so we can keep these amazing businesses around.
Bookish520 is Fresno's newest best kept secret. A charming new and used book store, part tattoo shop, part beauty, cosmetics and personal care salon, it also supports local art and food vendors with pop up markets from time to time. Nestled between the Tower District and Roeding park on West Olive Avenue, you've got to make sure to add this stop to your plan for a day out! From books, to clothing, to sweet treats, you can bet you'll find, adventure, knowledge, deliciousness and fun in this whimsical place. But what's really special about Bookish520 is the people that make the magic happen. Vanessa, Lorenzo, and Amber are friendly, genuine, talented people, and they will go out of their way to be sure you have a positive experience.
