I am thrilled to share that I recently became the "madrinha" to dois "menininhas" in Brasil: 11-year-old Ana and 4-year-old Hadassa (I love using these affectionate Portuguese terms!). Ana has dreams of becoming a veterinarian, while little Hadassa is eager to organize her toy collection, I just brought. I wanted to introduce them to the enchanting American holiday of Halloween. What better way to do that than by involving my beloved fur babies? To make sure I had a great picture to share, I reached out to one of the spa employees, and he kindly sent me a photo of my dog being groomed. It’s heartwarming to see such caring people! My best friend has a toy poodle from champion line of show dogs-pedigree parents in Denmark. Upon returning to the U.S., she sought out a master groomer but was disappointed after trying several different places in less than six months. Unfortunately, the constant changes caused her dog such stress that it had bloody stools, as per her Vet. This experience taught her—and me—the importance of finding a reliable groomer. I been using Brooklyn Pet Spa for three years, since my dogs were puppies. We agreed that the best way to evaluate grooming quality is to wait until their fur grows out a little. The new photos are recent photos of my dogs, taken just one week post-grooming, are a testament to excellent grooming—they look absolutely fabulous! Let’s not hesitate—someone should call William Galharde because my fur babies are more than ready for their close-up!

I sent my pup Fab The Prince here last week with a family member who is caring for him for the summer. I will never make that mistake again. I will continue to take him to Pup Studio NYC, where I send him EVERY MONTH and he always looks cute. He’s a mini poodle. When she called to express that he looks chopped up and he smells bad, the OWNER called her to say the groomer who did his hair is award winning & the shampoo they use is purchased from others, and sent a picture of my dog being “happy” with the ugliest haircut I’ve ever seen him with. A dog cannot determine whether they are groomed properly or not. The first photo is how they sent my baby home. The others is how he looks EVERY MONTH going to Pup Studio NYC, where they actually take their time and CARE For my pup. They claimed his hair was matted by his paws when he gets groomed EVERY MONTH and brushed EVERY DAY. They just don’t TAKE THEIR TIME. I will NOT be insulted and argued with. You did a HORRIBLE JOB. I don’t know what “award” the groomer received but this does not look like award winning grooming. I WILL CONTINUE TO SEND MY DOG MONTHLY TO A QUALIFIED GROOMER. You get what you pay for, I guess. The owner is rude and takes no accountability, but it is okay. I should have looked at the reviews with better lenses and also looked at the quality of the cuts on the dogs they groom because a lot of the 4 & 5 stars ARE NOT GOOD CUTS! People must not have been exposed to GOOD grooming. UPDATE: I didn’t see the owners response. I see it now. AGAIN, I sent my dog with family members my cousin & her daughter were taking care of my dog and brought him to this groomer. The owner is STILL being combative. I do not CARE to get a free service. You do not perform good work. Period. My dog SHOULD NOT still be curly if WASHED AND BLOWN. He should not have a smell from your shop. And as mentioned, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! NONE of the dogs photographed have good haircuts. I should have paid closer attention and sent him to HIS groomer and not attempt to support a more local business. Anyway NEW PHOTOS 😍🥰. The last TWO months since this disaster haircut my baby went back to pupstudio nyc (Gina) and THIS is how he LOOKS (last 2 photos) ! And he SMELLED GOOD! And NO owner was argumentative or RUDE! My recommendation is to go to Pupstudio and/or a groomer that does great work and takes their time with your pup!❤️

Brought my baby Nyx for his first grooming and they did not disappoint! My main concern was that Nyx’s fur was matted on his lower back. They listened to my requests and gave me suggestions on what cut would work best and I was very happy with the results! The staff told me that Nyx behaved well and when we arrived back home I could tell that he was not stressed after the experience, he was actually very happy! Will definitely be bringing Nyx back!

Our long haired cat developed a lot of mats when he was sick and couldn’t groom properly. The spa did a fantastic job cutting them out of him and he seems much more comfortable now. We were worried how silly he’d look, but they did a great job giving him a nice cut. He’s already grooming himself more and seems quite happy with the shorter hair

Tried this place out as it’s near my house, and was impressed by the pictures online. The guy at the front desk who did the intake listened to everything I wanted with my dogs grooming style in detail. He even went as far as to ask me how I wanted his eyelashes! I also offered to show him a photo and he took a picture to give to the groomer. Francisco groomed my dog and he did an amazing job!! My doodle looks exactly like the picture I provided. They were also able to groom him in under 2 hours. When I went to pick him up the ears were longer than I liked, but I notified them of this. I showed them a picture of how I wanted his ears, they took him back to Francisco and brought him back out 5 mins later! I’m very pleased with his cut. They did everything perfectly down to meeting my request to keep his legs longer than his body, and keeping the top of his head round and tall. My dog was also very happy afterwards so I trust they treated him well. He can be quite anxious and afraid to be away from me. These people really know what they’re doing, we will be back in 8 weeks!
