California Yoga has far exceeded any expectation I’ve ever had at a yoga studio. They say home is where the heart is… well, this place has become my home away from home 🥹 Every instructor I’ve met here is not only kind and welcoming, but also deeply educated and uniquely skilled in their practice. I’ve tried plenty of studios over the years, but once I landed here, my search was over. 🤞
California Yoga Studio in Sylvania is truly something special. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the authenticity and heart that’s been poured into this space. The owner is absolutely incredible — warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about creating a space where people can feel grounded, supported, and inspired. Every class feels intentional and connected. It’s not just about movement; it’s about the full experience — mind, body, and soul. Whether you’re new to yoga or have been practicing for years, this studio makes you feel like you belong. The community here is uplifting, and the vibe is calm yet energizing. It’s clear that the owner has created more than just a studio — she’s created a sanctuary. If you’re looking for a studio that feels real, rooted in love and purpose, and led by someone who truly cares, California Yoga is it.
Whether you are a seasoned yogi or new to the practice, California Yoga is the best studio in the Sylvania area for a holistic approach to all things yoga. The classes provide a fair amount of variety whether you are looking for a spiritual/slow flow, intermediate all-levels option or wanting to take things to the next level at the power classes, California Yoga has it all. I have taken classes from many of the instructors; all are absolutely fantastic and very welcoming/friendly. The studio is clean and as an added bonus shares space with Local Roots Juice Co. (which provides a nice option for an after-class juice, smoothie or avocado toast and coffee) this is a collaboration that just makes sense. Lots of workshops and sound baths are offered regularly by knowledgeable individuals to help you embrace the yogic lifestyle on many levels. I cannot recommend this studio enough, it is one of my favorite places to be!
Love California Yoga and Kimi! Kimi is the sweetest most welcoming yogi. All of the instructors are so knowledgeable, kind and passionate about helping anyone that comes through the door. I needed a lot of modifications because of my artificial knees and every instructor had helped me learn how yoga can increase my strength and stability while working with my limitations. It truly is a safe and welcoming space.
California Yoga Studio is truly a sanctuary. The space is calming and beautifully designed, creating the perfect environment to reconnect with your mind and body. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, intuitive, and deeply committed to their craft. Their domestic and international retreats are nothing short of life-changing, thoughtfully curated with extraordinary attention to detail, each one feels like a complete reset for the soul. A studio that consistently goes above and beyond.
