This is the best place to find fun exotic plants. Citrus, tropical pitchers, sundews. They also have hard to find herbs like bay laurel.

It's nice but no matter what I'm looking for, every time I'm there I'm told it's not the right time for it, etc. I've been gardening for most of my life, including having owned acreage. I don't go to the nursery for lectures & pop quizzes. I did botany at university. I'm just shopping here for higher quality plants that are indeed higher priced than big box stores. Less attitude would be much appreciated.

By far the BEST greenhouse in the Pittsburgh area! The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Huge selection of perennials, annuals, fruit & veg, house plants... anything that you can imagine. They have a wide variety of all of the species of plants that they carry. I have never seen so many varieties of hydrangea or rhododendron plants before. The perennial plant section is full of a bounty of native plants! I was so excited to see all of the natives. All of the plants appeared to be in good health. I did not see any evidence of pests or neglect. There is a huge amount of gardening supply as well. I loved the bulk bird and animal feed section. If you are an avid bird watcher like myself, you'll have to stop by. Tons of speciality products. Great layout. I spent hours in here and will be back many more times this season!
