Hi! I normally don’t leave reviews, but I’m making an exception for Lulu’s. I take EVERYTHING to Lulu! She has rewoven holes in vintage t-shirts and in every type of knit sweater from cotton to cashmere and every material in between. I also have her tailor oversized vintage sweaters I find, which I never knew was possible until I met her. And above all else, Lulu is kind, patient, and fair. I can’t say enough good things about Lulu. She’s an artist in every sense of the word. Thank you, Lulu!

Lulu saved the day. I bought a summer suit online before my daughter's wedding. It arrived with a little time to spare, and the material was nice. But... it didn't fit at all. I could barely get the jacket on, and couldn't raise my arms. I thought it was probably unsalvageable. I called around to some tailors. Lulu said she'd take a look at it. I went there, found the shop -- and she took a look at the suit and laughed. And, then she said there was enough material, and she could make it work. To my surprise, she did it. It was comfortable, and it looked good. She can do re-weaving, too, which is pretty amazing.

Needed to get my bridesmaid dress readjusted within 2 weeks and Lulu was able to get it done within days for only $75 to adjust the hem and neckline. Very efficient, very professional, and very sweet! Will be coming again!

I've had clothes altered and repaired at Lulu's Threadwork and I couldn't be happier. Lulu is an exceptional tailor—her work is flawless, and her prices are more than fair. She communicates clearly throughout the process and genuinely cares about getting the details right. I highly recommend her for any alteration needs!

Lulu’s does amazing work! I’ve gone to her twice now. Recently, I attempted to go to a different seamstress to avoid making the trip downtown. The other seamstress spent 15 minutes telling me why my wedding dress could NOT be altered “because of the beading”, and I left in tears. I went to Lulu’s for a second opinion and she had no trouble finishing my dress in a timely manner with a smile on her face. I’ll never go anywhere else ever again! Thank you Lulu’s!
