I have been a customer of this location for years mostly bringing in my clothes for resale. Chrystal, the manager, and her team have always greeted me, by name, and made me feel like my business matters to them. The store is beautifully merchandised and clean.
They gave me good money… when I finally managed to be able to give them my clothes. I came in 4 times, two of those times after calling to see if they were still taking clothes only to be turned away for one reason or another or because they stopped taking clothes at like noon. And upon trying to call to see what their times are for accepting clothes whoever was on the phone was incredibly rude and acted like I was stupid for expecting them to have a specific time for accepting clothes like every other real retail shop. No joke she was talking to me like I was an annoying toddler pulling at her shirt or something. It would be one thing of all of these were clarified to me and I just didn’t listen, but it felt like they kept adding new rules every time I tried to come in and bring my clothes. (All designer btw) After going to them, I went to the location in alliance and that location had none of these problems. Everyone was incredibly nice. I’ll be going to the alliance location from now on.
Love this place! I am always pleased that I don’t have to shop for an extensive amount of time because of how the staff selects clothes that come into the store! They are picky about what is brought in, which is helpful for the shopper looking for secondhand high-quality items! You can find some true gems here!
I would not recommend visiting this store based on my experiences. Although I’ve been a few times at my mother’s request—she enjoys shopping here—the customer service has consistently been disappointing. On one occasion, the staff reprimanded my mother for simply touching an item, which was both unnecessary and disrespectful. The overall environment feels unwelcoming, and the staff and the manager often watches customers in a way that feels intrusive and uncomfortable, as if suspecting wrongdoing. Unfortunately, this is the least hospitable experience I’ve had at a clothing store. If it were up to me, I would not return. Other Clothes Mentor locations have been much more pleasant and professional in their customer interactions.
One of the best clothes mentors in the DFW metroplex. The best brands, and I mean the best. Name brand from mid tier to luxury. This store has it all, everyone is always friendly and helpful. You can’t find better deals on these brands anywhere. Thank you for being kind and being here! Will always be back
