I seriously couldn’t ask for a better moving crew. A last minute move while I could barely move myself with a slipped disc? These guys not only came to the rescue but made it easy and painless (literally and figuratively). Professional, courteous, and quick; Shawn, Steve and Jimmy saved the day and I couldn’t be more appreciative of these guys! I don’t want to move again any time soon but if I do, I’ll 100% be calling this crew back!
Both movers were friendly and attentive, and both were eager to assist with moving furniture and clearing a path in order to move the old recliner out and bring in it’s replacement. They arrived on time and made the entire task go very smoothly, so I gave each of them a tip in cash, instead of adding a tip to the balance I paid via credit card. Only complaint I have is the cost!
What an amazing and stressless experience I had today with College Hunks! Keenan, Nick, and Joe showed up on time and ready to work with all required moving supplies. They were extremely pleasant, professional, and fast!! They ensured that all of my furniture was wrapped and moved carefully. They also set up all furniture in my new home. I would highly recommend using College Hunks to all friends and family and I will definitely use their moving services again in the future!
Daniel, Joe, Steve & Karm did an outstanding job! They allowed me to meet with them, as soon as they jumped out of the truck, to go over my expectations & how I would like to see them executed. The guys followed my instructions brilliantly, knocked the original timeframe “outta the park” and even had time to assemble my ‘casual dining’ set! Bravo Daniel, Joe, Steve & Karm‼️
Do not use this service, as they will send you unqualified, incompetent personnel who DO NOT know how to organize and pack a moving truck in a way that your items won’t be damaged. Further they will purposefully take their time in order to increase their billable time so you have to pay more for them to drag their feet and be rude when you call them out on their lack of time consideration. In total we spent just under $900 to load a moving truck when all our items were already packed. At that price we expect professionalism and skilled packing/organization. We arranged for labor to help pack our own moving van on Thursday, June 19th. All of our items were packed, organized and we provided all additional packing materials (plastic wrap, 12 ratchets, furniture pads, mattress cover). We decided to go with ‘professional’ movers in order to ensure that our long distance move was packed well. If not we would have done it ourselves and perhaps gotten some labor help off Craig’s list. Given the cost of the labor we expect there to be professionalism and packing skills to ensure that our items aren’t damaged in transit. In the 9 minute drive from our storage unit to our apartment it took them 32 minutes to arrive AND all of the items that they ‘packed well’ had already flown even after asking them to use the ratchets and ensure items were secure. This disorganization and damaging packing skills continued as they packed the rest of the 26’ truck. They packed so poorly that they were struggling to fit the final items when there was plenty of space throughout the truck that did not utilize (you could clearly see the back of the truck from the front with nothing stacked over 4.5 feet). We called the company to ask what could be done and all we were told was that it was out of that personnel’s control and that they would share the information and photos we provided to the managers and that the managers would follow up. It is now 4 days later and we have received no communication or any discussion on how to right this terrible service.
