Be wary and consider alternatives to this shop. And I would definitely NOT recommend them for a zipper repair. I was charged $60 (initially quoted $30-40) to replace a zipper for my coat, and the zipper simply does not work (unless you have 5 minutes to spare and needle nose pliers every time you want to zip up your coat). My coat is worse off than when I brought it in. And while I expected easy agreement from staff and a pledge to make it right, I was told, "sorry, technically this zipper works, so there is nothing we can do." I'm hopeful they will at least take back the zipper and return my coat and $60, but I'm not holding my breath. This is place is kind of unbelievable. Incredibly poor quality, poor customer service, and ridiculously expensive.
This place is phenomenal! So, I acquired two vintage military coats, both of which are made of very heavy, coarse wool. I was little unsure how to go about getting them cleaned as both coats had been in long-time storage and were grimey. I saw several positive reviews for this place and figured I'd give them a try and what an EXCELLENT decision!! They were incredibly friendly, the drop off process was easy and they send a link to keep you in the loop and should they need some extra time with a garment they do call. When I picked up the coats they were wonderfully clean and fresh smelling. I swear the color was even brighter. Best of all, the price was more than reasonable. In a nutshell, I've definitely found my go-to cleaners for Boston.
a family member recommended columbus cleaners after a conversation about having a suit altered for a upcoming wedding. i didn’t have a lot of time to get it done so i went into columbus ahead of time and ask if it was possible to do in a short period of time. the answer was yes without hesitation. with the holidays here i came back the next day and was pleasantly surprised by the prompt, kind, knowledgeable staff. they made me feel not rushed and every detail was handled with ease. low and behold i received an email in 2 days that my alterations and cleaning was ready for pick up ahead of the promised date. can’t say enough of how i was treated by all the staff. i finally found a dry cleaners and tailors that know what they’re doing and know customer service. thank you columbus cleaners !!
Absolutely spectacular dry cleaner! My wife and I have both been absolutely floored by the quality of their work and their phenomenal customer service. No one else in Boston brings near the combination of craftsmanship and friendliness that they provide. There are times where I’m tempted to spill a little bit of marinara on my suits just so that we can give them a little more of our business!
