Nathan was fast and efficient and did an amazing job installing a new sink/vanity/faucet and new toilet. Super fast and it looks great. The old vanity was hideous so this bring joy to my heart.
Thank you so much to Jairo, he installed my furnace. He did a thorough installation. He encountered a leak with the condensation tube and with excellent problem solving skills was able to fix it right away. Jairo arrived on-time, answered all my questions and explained them in a way that I could understand. His work was excellent and top shelf quality. I also appreciated that he is latino and was able to talk to me in Spanish. Thank you Cornel’s Plumbing for having employees that provide excellent service.
We hired Cornel’s to re-pipe our house, and at the same time we had them replace our furnace, water heater and add air conditioning. Everyone we dealt with from Cornel’s from sales, installation, service and the front office was courteous and professional, and they answered all our questions with patience and compassion. Josh B. wrote the quote and gave us discounts for bundling the work, starting immediately (it is their off-season), and for paying cash. Josh arranged for all the permits, inspections, and sub-contractors to run a new water main and add a new electrical circuit for the A/C. On day one HVAC team Ed, Jase and Andrew replaced our furnace and installed the new A/C unit in a day. Starting the next day plumbing team John and Josh O. did the re-piping of 2+1/2 baths, kitchen, laundry and outdoor faucets in 2.5 days, and replaced the water heater on the third day. The electrical contractor came the next week, and when that threw our old thermostat into a tizzy, Brady from Cornel’s service department came the same day and got our heat working again. Brady restored sanity to the thermostat, and he offered to install the new smart thermostat that is part of the new HVAC system, but he cautioned us it would show a warning message until they set up the A/C when it is warm enough to test it. We decided to continue using the old thermostat until the A/C is set up so we won’t see that warning. We highly recommend Cornel’s Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning.
We used Cornel’s Plumbing a couple of months ago to fix a water leak and replace the pipe from the front yard water meter to our house and shower valve replacement. That was our first time meeting Jake, who did the estimate — he was honest, detailed, and offered very reasonable pricing. I contacted them again to replace our water heater. As always, Jake arrived on time today and called before coming. Most importantly, he gave a very honest opinion and clearly explained the pros and cons of electric vs. heat pump water heaters. We truly appreciate his professionalism and integrity — Cornel’s Plumbing has definitely earned our business!
On-site visit to our residence, as provided in our Care Plan, exposed a furnace leaking carbon monoxide in our garage. Nate showed us what he was seeing with his camera: quarter-inch cracks in all four heating cylinders, severe corrosion in the base, and since it's over 25 years old, parts will cost a fortune... after a thorough, very matter-of-fact discussion and looking at furnace and house setup, we found we could shut the gas off for safety and look at options for a new heater. Nate was courteously considerate throughout, explained our options, and let us talk through our concerns. Nate apologized for the bad news about replacement costs, and showed us photos of everything. He also walked us through how Cornel's would approach the job. We trust his assessment, his findings, and his integrity presenting them. He likes people, loves his job, and it shows. He definitely have us the education he promised and I felt no sales pressure at all. Even the cat approved of him. On the installation visit, Veniamin was quick and quiet, inspected affected spaces throughout the house and surrounding area, and Samuel explained the approach, walked us through the equipment and told us what we needed to know and didn't know to ask, and answered our questions in a courteous, personable, and conversational manner. We appreciated both of them and it was far less disruptive than we had expected. The installation area was immaculate when they left.
