Our experience with Cottage Pet Hospital was nothing short of amazing. My dog was hit by a car and suffered a severe leg fracture. Thankfully, that was the only injury, but it was still a terrifying experience. The team at Cottage Pet Hospital went truly above and beyond to get him into surgery as quickly as possible—even bringing the doctor in on their day off. Their compassion, dedication, and genuine care for both their patients and their families meant more to us than I can put into words. I am incredibly thankful and appreciative for everything they did for my dog.

As a director of a pet services nonprofit, I work with great DVMs and vet techs everyday. And on a personal note, I couldn’t be happier with all the love and attention my older dog Birdie has received from the staff at Cottage and especially Dr. Hsu.

My dog always receives the best care here with Dr. Gallo. It is always the most pleasent experience, everyone in the office is extremely nice and its very obvious they care about all your pets needs. Never plan on taking my pets anywhere else. After many terrible experiences with other vets, this was such a blessing to find.

I absolutely love this vet, Dr Gallo has seen my babies and I through a lot of rough times. Even though I moved a couple of years ago, and there are closer vet clinics to me, I continue to come here because their staff genuinely cares about the wellbeing of your babies.

I’ve gone here a few times here’s what I experienced. Hours - amazing, longer hours/days could avoid expensive ER visits. Staff - amazing, the staff are super nice and very helpful. Availability - I’ve gotten appointments the same day or the next day without issue. From what I can tell they don’t overbook so wait times are almost non-existent. With all good there is bad, here is the negative. Cost - By far the most expensive vet I’ve been to. My last visit the vet explained what they wanted to do and when the tech came in with cost a 170 dollar shot was added to the cost that the Vet said nothing about. When I asked what it was for the Tech didn’t have much info and said I put her on the spot. But who am I to question professionals so I agreed. Well that shot made my cat very sick. Being a disabled Civil Servant money is tight so I couldn’t take her back in to get checked out after going way over budget. Thankfully I nursed her and she’s doing better. Exams - During COVID it became common for your pet to be taken in the back alone for exams. While most clinics got rid of this practice, Cottage still does it and this is my biggest critique. Our pets are already scared. To take them away and do god knows what out of my sight is a massive issue to me, especially for a simple exam. I’m not saying there is foul play but when I can’t see what’s happening it could be a thing. All in all, I have no intentions of going anywhere else, if they agree to see my pets after this. I have high standards and my experience may not be yours and I still recommend them highly.
