El Centro de Artes Culturales ofrece una experiencia artística vibrante en el centro de Columbus, con clases asequibles en cerámica, esmalte, pintura, escultura, tejido y más. Ubicado en el antiguo cuartel histórico, cuenta con una galería en la planta de entrada y una tienda de artículos hechos por estudiantes. Situado en 139 W Main St, ofrece estacionamiento gratuito y un estacionamiento de pago, y organiza exposiciones y eventos comunitarios que atraen a residentes y visitantes.

I just took my very first art class since high school here; the instructor was phenomenal, the atmosphere was perfect, and I already feel far more confident than before I arrived!
Do not take classes with the ceramics instructor Sandy/Sandra Lang. She is the type of teacher that makes people not want to return. I truly believe that she is destructive to the environment at the cultural arts center. An unhappy person who hates to teach. She will degrade your work and won’t give you any constructive feedback. I have advised everyone I know to stay away from her classes, and to stick with Sarah or Adena. They are both kind people who want to help members of the community get in touch with their artistic selves. They are happy to be there and happy to have new students. They want to help people learn. It’s unfortunate that with years of complaints from many students, that the center allows Sandra Lang to stay employed there. Maybe it will change someday 🙂 everyone else is lovely and it’s a great place to create art!
Some very nice people here Great equipment good classes very capable instructors has to be one of my favorite learning spots at this time. It continues to be one of the best places to go for art education and exhibits. Still just the best place ever. Great instructors.
This place is pretty incredible- right in the center of downtown there is a community arts space that offers affordable classes to Columbus residents- ceramics, enamel work, painting, sculpture, weaving and the like. There is a gallery on the entrance floor and a shop of handmade goods that students made. It’s in the old armory building which is historical and unique. There is free parking and a paid lot,
Me encanta este lugar. Me casé aquí en 2012. Fue una boda en mayo y Geoff fue genial para trabajar, al igual que todas las personas con las que trabajamos del centro de artes culturales. Nos encantó el espacio tanto al aire libre como en interiores. Afortunadamente el tiempo aguantó y la boda fue al aire libre. Definitivamente sugeriría hacer una boda aquí y la recepción también, si el aforo es el adecuado. No más de 100 para la boda y la recepción, y hasta 175 para solo la boda.
