Urban Arts Space es una galería de arte dinámica ubicada en 50 W Town St, Columbus, OH 43215. Situada en el histórico edificio Lazarus Building con puertas de Art Nouveau, alberga varias exposiciones cada año y fomenta la experimentación. El espacio ha presentado eventos como 'fault lines' y ofrece actividades interactivas de collage. Se destaca que el personal es acogedor, y la cercana cafetería Parable se suma a la escena artística.

Always find new displays when I visiting, some great artist for sure.
I came into the space since there was a giant christmas tree hidden inside the building. It was quite a nice stop due to the season but didn't go into the actual space.
Love the space and the allowance for experimentation for the exhibitors. Very fun. Unfortunately my wife and I came as they were preparing for a new exhibit but glad we were able to experience what we did.
Amazing original engineering concepts at this historic landmark! Great tour guide and info provided..... The term "garden" conjures thoughts of flowers and such. This one is more for functionality versus aesthetics, but it's design makes so much sense👍🏽
I attended my first event here a few weeks ago—a moving performance art show where dancers and a live musician expressed their ideas of home and our connection to the environment (the show was called "fault lines"). Abstract art confuses me at times, but being in the space itself with other people made this a communal experience. There was also a fun interactive activity before the performance, where we were invited to create our own collage from magazine photos. The staff were all incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout the experience. You can tell they love their jobs and working with the community. The space itself is housed in the historic Lazarus Building, which was built in the Art Nouveau style, as you can tell from the door design. It's a spacious gallery with a number of shows throughout the year. There's also a lovely coffeeshop nearby called Parable that I've visited a few times. I highly recommend going to the UAS if you want a taste of the Columbus arts scene!
