So fun! Burns a ton of calories. Routines have enough technique to be fun for experienced dancers but easy enough for anyone to follow along. Super welcoming environment. It's my weekly Saturday routine.
I've been going to Physique since 2020 and it has seriously changed my life. Jenna is amazing and her routines are so fun! Other instructors are also very fun and easy to follow. Such a good workout, so fun, and such a happy and safe space to learn! Love this studio!
Jenna's dance studio offers a welcoming environment and a fun workout. Her teaching style is very well structured and easy to follow. Her routines borrow from her expertise in yoga, weight training, cardio training, and professional dance. No matter how I am feeling that day, I always leave her class with a huge smile. I recommend starting with a dance fit course, you won't regret it!
I actually found Physique about a year ago when I was looking for a less pretentious barre studio than some of the other ones I'd tried out. I IMMEDIATELY loved Jenna, who is the owner of the studio, and the most upbeat, positive person you'll ever meet. Not considering myself to be a dancer whatsoever, I only was attending the barre classes for awhile until I accidentally signed up for a combo hip hop / barre class the studio was hosting for New Year's Day and surprisingly, I loved it! I never thought I could dance, but it's such a positive and supportive community of people that I left wanting more. I've been totally addicted to the dance classes and it's both a great way to get fit and also boost mental health. Everyone is extremely fun and nice, and I always leave in a better mood than I started in. As we're now in the COVID-19 world, Jenna's done an amazing job pivoting to make sure everyone can participate safely, be it through online classes when wildfires make it too smokey outside, or socially distanced dancing in the park near the studio. While I miss the fun lighting and atmosphere of the studio, the park has actually been SO great for the quarantine blues and we often get random people walking over to ask how to join because they can see we're all having fun. Jenna and the rest of the instructors have done such an amazing job building a wonderful community, and I know I'm in it for the long haul. Highly recommend, even if you don't consider yourself a dancer but want to try something new. You won't regret it.
FitHop es muy divertido y un gran entrenamiento. Como principiante, tenía nervios para probar FitHop. Desde la primera clase a la que fui, Jenna crea un ambiente tan positivo y acogedor, olvidé mis nervios y empecé a divertirme. FitHop es la combinación perfecta de cardio y aprender algunos movimientos de baile divertidos. Personas de todos los niveles de baile se unen a nuestra clase y se divierten. Jenna crea una vibra positiva, empoderadora y divertida, y es un entrenamiento brutal (trae agua). ¡Espero con ganas cada clase!
