We used DJ Connection for our wedding this past March and had a good experience overall. Before the event they were attentive and helped walk us through the flow of the event in detail based on their experiences with other folks weddings. Since this was our first (and only (knock on wood)) they knew to ask about certain potentials we wouldn't have anticipated. Day-of, our DJ, Mackenzie, was just the right amount of energy for our event and helped everything flow without any hiccups.

DJ Connection was selected by the venue we used for my daughter’s wedding. My daughter spoke to people at DJ Connection on several occasions to go over the details. She put together a list of 40 songs and discussed what songs she wanted played and when. The ceremony went pretty well except that the mic for the bride and groom did not pick up anything they said. The entrance and exit for the ceremony and the introduction of the bridal party and Bride and Groom at the reception were all fine. Everything started to go downhill from there. The plan was to play some light music for 30 - 45 minutes while everyone ate, and then begin the dances. What happened was that none of the songs my daughter selected were played and it appeared as though the DJ just sat staring at her phone and the guests were bored to death. By the time the first dance happened, over half of the guests had left. We spoke to many of the guests over the following week, and everyone felt the same way…the ceremony was great, the food was great, and the DJ was awful. No one was approached during the reception to see if we were happy with how things were going. There were no attempts to get the guests on the dance floor, just guests sitting around being bored until they decided they couldn’t take it anymore and left. I do believe that DJ Connection is a good company as there are plenty of good reviews from happy customers. However, for the price I paid, I do not feel that I got my money’s worth.
