Just would like to give a HUGE 5 star review for the best Accupunture Holistic haven on the planet. Polina is very knowledgeable on everything going on in the body her expertise amazes me every time In times when no one trusts their Drs Polina is a happy alternative to that. Its a beautiful place and Teddy the beautiful comfort dog is a much needed touch. Bravo to East Meets West and Bravo to Polina and Teddy !!!
Really disappointing. They kept trying to sell me more things, and tell me I needed all of these different services. I wanted to start acupuncture, they told me I need a consultation first (which they charge $60 or $70 for), they sent me a ton of paperwork to fill out prior to this consultation. Polina (the acupuncturist) and I made appointment for this consultation. She started asking questions which I had already answered on the extensive paperwork. She then said she had not read it yet. What is the point of filling out a ton of paperwork to have a consultation if they do not even read the paperwork. She then determined she would concentrate on a particular matter after talking to me (again had not ever read all my paperwork and questionnaire). Then, after my second session, she told me she wanted me to start taking these supplements that she sold. They had label on them "anxiety" but did not contain the ingredients and of course charged $20-30 for each bottle. It just seems like such a scam of trying to get every possible dollar from you and not actually reviewing all of your information or customizing to you. I also met with nutritionist, she was great, Katherine. She took time to review my paperwork, labs, questions. She sent me menu plans. I really liked her, just was frustrated with the place.
I have been a customer / client here for many years! Polina is awesome. I came to pick up herbal remedies today (samples) and I'm happy to do so! Plus, support local businesses that I have come to in the past. Great place and good customer / client care. I highly recommend. 5 stars :) 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Everything about East Meets West is truly EXCEPTIONAL!! I had acupuncture done for some recurring migraines and Polina's expertise helped tremendously. In addition, they recently expanded their services to include what I consider to be some of the best massages and facials in LA. I got a Swedish massage and a mini-facial recently that were exactly what I needed - relaxing, personalized, rejuvenating, and affordable! I cannot recommend this holistic center highly enough - in particular the calm and friendly environment, the quality of the services, and the really unique and beautifully-designed space.
