Jacob is absolutely amazing! He was my esthetician and made the entire experience so comfortable from start to finish. He explained everything he was doing, checked in throughout the facial, and made sure I felt relaxed and confident the whole time. I originally went in for just one facial, but he did such an incredible job that I ended up becoming a member on the spot. Now I’ll be going back to see him once a month and honestly, that feels like the ultimate self-care commitment. Highly recommend booking with Jacob if you want great results, good energy, and an esthetician who truly cares. 💆♀️✨
***I NORMALLY ONLY GIVE POSITIVE REVIEWS*** I went in for a facial. I usually go to Viva but decided to try this place. The experience felt rushed. They used cupping right under my eye and applied a large amount of liquid in that area. When I called to express concern about my face, they insisted it was impossible for anything to have gotten in my eye and claimed that cupping on the under-eye (a very delicate area) is “normal.” I have contact dermatitis, and after seeing a doctor, it’s clear this caused an issue. Unfortunately, they’re taking zero accountability. I am literally in pain. My face hurts my nose bridge hurts from the pain of the under eye and lid. Literally 24 hrs after my saturday appointment my face started to swell and within 5 hrs I experienced pain.
december 15th, 2026. REMEMBER this date because it’ll be the ONLY & last thing that this shop will be known for. the full story: my gf was coming in for a scheduled appointment. she was about 6 minutes late. she was notified about the grace period 3 min before the deadline. she knew nothing about this rule, she only knew until 3 minutes of the deadline. (mind you that most places have a 10 min grace period.) my gf told the clerk over the phone that she was going to get there at 4:45pm. when we got dropped off by the uber, she walked in as fast as she could with an injured toe nail. i decided to walk to the pizza shop. 3 min in, she calls me crying over the phone, telling me that her appointment was cancelled & on TOP OF THAT, was told disrespectfully. i hurried back & walked in the store & asked for an explanation. the lady at the front desk was 100% incompetent & inconsiderate to perform her simple duties. i dont know who or what the culture is at this shop but ya’ll need a reality check. last time i checked, yall aint a 5 star eye brow shop. yall aint got no michelin star for cutting brows. for god sake, yall are a damn shop on south congress next to a nike outlet, a nike outlet. i challenge yall to be better. i challenge yall TO DO better! this type of energy dont belong in austin, tx.
I cannot recommend Face Foundrie enough! After my first visit with Jacob, I immediately purchased the membership and booked monthly facials with him. He is THE best! Not only is he amazing at what he does, but he is so kind and genuinely cares to make sure your experience is top tier. He always listens to my skin concerns and questions and has helped guide me to the right services and products to make my skin glow!
This was my first time at Face Foundrié and I loved it! Blake was my esthetician and provided one of the best facials I’ve had in a long time. We talked through my goals for the visit and she suggested a different treatment than the one I’d initially booked—she was spot on! It was relaxing and refreshing, and I left feeling lol a glazed donut in the best way. My only negative has nothing to do with Blake and her services—I didn’t know that services are provided in one big room with curtains between beds. If you’re used to the private room/changing into a towel facials, this definitely isn’t as cozy. It’s also not as quiet since there is activity going on around you. It was honestly not a huge deal, just was not expecting that. Highly recommend a facial here!
