Garlock-French replaced my roof shingles on my bungalow and garage in the fall of 2025. They negotiated effectively with my insurance company and provided a competitive bid. They did excellent work, were efficient and meticulous about safeguarding my garden. Cleanup after the project was also exceptional. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a roofing contractor in the Twin Cities metro area.
We have used Garlock-French twice for a roof replacement; They do a fantastic job! The estimator, project manager & coordinator keep you updated, from the estimate process through the start & finish. They always do a good job and clean up all nails & other debris. We couldn't find any nails after they were finished. Our neighbor used a different roofing company & they were not happy with a long list complaints. We definitely will use Garlock-French again in the future if we need a roof replacement or repairs.
We were very pleased with this company from start to finish. The proposal was in plain English, but also detailed and was explained to us. We had some funny situations develop with flashings before the job actually happened, but after the proposal and these were effectively dealt with. It was excellent communication with the company. They sent out a lot of people so the job was done in two days which included the detached garage. The crews were professional and friendly. Overall, we had a very good experience
Our rep David has been a dream to work with! He's also incredibly knowledgeable about the games insurance companies play. After a tree fell on our home and months of going back and forth with our insurance company (who was only willing to pay less than 5% of the actual damage caused to our roof and interior walls) Garlock-French came to the rescue. It's so refreshing to work with a company that provides first class customer service, keeps their word and does quality work. We've recommended Garlock-French to all our neighbors and friends and would highly recommend them to anyone who finds themselves in this situation.
