You can only get in touch with India when you call the local store. I just wanted to know if I could talk to a local employee about if they had a product on their shelf and they can answer me. I guess Target, Walmart, Fred Meyer's, ect would rather have my business. When I tried Geek Squads number, it went to India under Best Buy. So, now even for local service, you can't call direct.

First-class operation, staffed by good-natured, smart, dillegent "geeks." Hec, I'd like to be a geek! As an Apple customer, I was given an "overflow" sesh at the GS, seeing how "Genius Bar" was booked.. these cats took me in, accepted me, and treated me right. No charge. The fix was explained. I was invited to charge the phone at a lobby table. All that I observed in my 25 minutes there was of good people doing good work. Thanks. 'Preesh.

had booting issues after installing new hardware on my gaming rig, after figuring out that i just needed a bootable usb drive and to re organize my hard drive in the command prompts, I gave up trying and went to geek squad for help. after explaining that i've tried everything to optimize the bios settings, the clueless employee restarted my rig a couple times and fastened the sata cables, then proceeded to tell me that i should just pay for the $180 service and software installation fee, even though i had also brought an ssd and a digital windows product activation key. Absolutely atrocious and a complete joke. never bring anything here unless you're an old geezer who's on the tip of his coffin and doesn't care if he's being ripped off for hundreds of dollars

even if you have an appointment, expect to wait 20-30 minute before your appointment can be completed! there got to be a long line and my service continually got interrupted because the guy had to set up appointments for people who didn’t have one! also, they told me it would be 3-4 hours max to repair my phone screen. in total it was more than 24! do not plan on getting your phone back the same day! not necessarily the biggest issue but definitely a nuisance. i chose here because apple care said they would cover it, but i would definitely not recommend. the people are nice but the whole thing is very disorganized and time consuming.

I took a Klipsch floor standing speaker, which was purchased at Best Buy, in for repair a couple of months ago. The sound quality had deteriorated and it apparently had a defective woofer. It was sent out, repaired, and returned in about 6 weeks. When I picked the speaker up from the store it was missing the front mesh cover. The rep was nice enough to pull a replacement off of their floor model. Then, I noticed that the plastic supports/feet on the bottom of the speaker had been destroyed, apparently during shipping. The speaker was still wrapped from shipping, it was not boxed or appropriately packaged, just a single layer of bubble wrap around the middle of the, covering less than half of it and not covering the bottom or top at all. The rep acknowledged that the damage was caused by them, likely during shipping, but told me that since my speaker was repaired under manufacturer warranty and didn’t have a Geek Squad protection plan there was nothing they would do. I phoned in to their 800 customer support line but ended up on extended holds and eventually got disconnected. A couple days later I went back to the store to demand that they repair the damage that they caused. The same rep was working and greeted me with “oh, you’re back” and a scowl. She repeatedly told me that I should have sent the speaker back to Klipsch instead of in-store warranty repair, and I responded that the Klipsch warranty terms specifically state to only contact Klipsch directly if it is impossible to return an item to the store where it was purchased, and that if they were unable to complete warranty work for Klipsch they should have notified me of that and declined the repair. Eventually she begrudgingly took the part from a display model to replace mine, which ended up being a different color so I now have mismatching speakers. Mind you, this is a $1200 pair of speakers, it’s not asking too much to expect that they are repaired correctly, and match. After that absolute nightmare of a repair, I thought the saga was over. About 4 weeks after I got the speaker back, it started sounding the same as it did prior to repair. A couple of days later, the woofer that was repaired or replaced by Geek Squad is literally falling apart, as shown in the attached photo. I’ve contacted Klipsch directly and after sending them photos of the repair work done by Geek Squad they are sending me a whole new unit. Absolute worst customer service experience of my life. Employees were rude and condescending and acted like I was a burden when I expected them to repair or replace damages that they acknowledged were caused during their “repairs”/shipping. And then the speaker literally fell apart within weeks. This will be my first and last experience with the Geek Squad my last purchase at Best Buy.
