I would definitely recommend GVRD Roofing. Overall, we had a very good experience working with them. We are a multi-unit residential building that needed a full replacement of our large torch-on roof, and the entire process was handled professionally from start to finish. Chris was extremely helpful, responsive, and patient with all of our questions. He provided a very detailed and transparent quote that included photos, a clear explanation of the work required, and what we could expect during the project. This level of detail gave our strata a lot of confidence moving forward. Once the roofing project began, the work progressed smoothly and on schedule. The crew was skilled, efficient, and respectful of the property throughout the installation. I had Dan came over to look at a water pooling and minor leak on my torch-on flat roof. He gave me a quote, came back as agreed. The roof was fixed, flattened and new drain was added. I am happy with the work and the cost was reasonable. They fixed what was needed and it was done in a timely manner. I will be looking for them to do regular inspections in the future.
2022: When I noticed a leak in my bedroom, I contact many roofers. Most did not get back to me. A few told me they were so busy, they had to turn customers away. GVRD Roofing stayed in touch with me and sent Marcos as soon as he had a spare moment. The repair took only 10 minutes, but I am so grateful to have it done. Marcos also said if I have any further problems, to just let him know. It was an overall excellent experience given the very difficult time we are having in BC right now with excessive rain and storms. I recommend GVRD Roofing Inc and thank the team for taking care of my roof. 2024: Because of the great service I got in 2022, when my roof leaked again this year, I contacted GVRD. Another amazing job. Roof leak is repaired and at the same time, the team replaced some broken vent and plumbing stacks and cleaned the moss from the roof for a very fair price. Hace aproximadamente un año, GVRD reemplazó mi techo touch-on de mi casa, que todavía está bajo una garantía de 12 años. A finales de octubre (2018), una pieza de la tabla de fascia alrededor de la chimenea se desprendió del techo. Llamé a Chris, el propietario de GVRD Roofing, a mi teléfono celular un par de veces, pero no me devolvieron la llamada. Luego lo llamé desde mi teléfono fijo con su número bloqueado en el extremo receptor, y esta vez Chris contestó mi llamada y pensó que era un cliente nuevo. Le expliqué el problema y dijo que enviaría a alguien para arreglarlo el próximo lunes. Le envié un recordatorio a la mañana siguiente, el lunes. Esperé todo el día, pero nadie de GVRD se presentó. Debido a que al día siguiente iba a llover mucho, tuve que usar el pegamento que tenía en mi garaje para pegar de nuevo la tabla de fascia caída al techo esa tarde. Después, le pedí que envíe a alguien para examinar/arreglar el problema adecuadamente varias veces, y finalmente me envió un mensaje diciendo que enviaría a alguien para arreglar el problema. Sin embargo, nadie volvió a presentarse. Envié la última solicitud a Chris el 1 de febrero de 2019 y mencioné que si no envía a su personal para arreglar el problema, escribiré una reseña sobre esta queja. No recibió ningún mensaje de su parte antes de que publique esta reseña. Si no quiere arreglar algo roto dentro de un año, ¿para qué sirve una garantía de 12 años? (18 de marzo de 2019) Comentarios sobre la respuesta de Chris: 1. No recibí ningún mensaje de su parte, ni en mi contestadora, ni SMS, ni correo electrónico. ¿No debería decirme la fecha y la hora en que vino su miembro del equipo cuando yo no estaba en casa? 2. ¿En un sentido profesional, no es una cortesía informar a su cliente antes de ir a su casa para que esté allí esperando? 3. ¿Es así como trata a sus clientes para trabajos de garantía/después del servicio comunicándose a través de Google Reviews? 4. Porque la chapa de metal no se hizo correctamente la primera vez, por eso se cayó. Bajo garantía, debería repararse de la forma en que la instaló antes y no debería cobrar por la reparación. Punto. (24 de abril de 2019) Hace dos semanas, finalmente alguien de GVRD vino a resolver el problema. El techador dedicó unos 5 minutos a inspeccionar el problema y aplicó el sellador adecuado a lo largo de la brecha entre la chimenea y la chapa de metal.
