I travel to the Bay area monthly for work and wanted a gym besides at he hotel. Hotworx was the answer. Convenience of using the sauna at any time for a workout is a gamechanger. Staff is always nice, remembers my name even if I don't stop by for weeks.

I have been deep in the fitness world since high school with it much success in losing weight, toning, or recovery until I found Hotworx. The infrared technology has literally saved my life and dramatically improved my quality of life. Having lupus, fibro, arthritis , and chronic pain, managing pain and maintaining mobility has been challenging. Then I found a studio! While living DTSJ, I learned about these infrared saunas offering isometric sessions as well as HITT training in less time. WHAT?! Before the opening, I had to move across the country. Luckily I found another location and my life truly started in my 40s. On rough days, I love just laying in a 45 min ISO session and just ground myself to find peace. It's the best. After regaining my health, I was able to travel again and I have made my way back to the downtown SJ location every couple of months. The owners and staff have always been so welcoming and encouraging! I feel like family here. You can't get that at most gyms! Come try a free session or two and you'll be convinced!

I’ve really enjoyed my experience at HOTWORX. The location is in a nice area, and I always feel safe coming and going, especially with security nearby. The gym has a welcoming vibe, and everyone I’ve encountered has been friendly. I usually struggle to stay consistent with working out on my own, but HOTWORX makes it fun and motivating. The workout environment is positive, and the video-led sessions are easy to follow, even for beginners. The only thing I’d note is that you do have to purchase a hotworx mat, which I didn’t expect. But aside from that, everything else has been great. I can definitely see myself continuing to come here.

INFRARED SAUNA + WORKOUTS I'd never heard of HOTWORX until I moved to San Jose, but as someone who's obsessed with hot yoga, I was super curious and had to check it out. With the many health benefits of infrared saunas, the concept of combining them with fitness classes seemed like the perfect fit for me. UNIQUE STUDIO HOTWORX is a one-of-a-kind gym with multiple infrared saunas running virtual classes 24/7. A virtual instructor leads a variety of workouts, including barre, Pilates, yoga, stretching, cycling, rowing, and more. Each sauna can fit up to three people, but I've often had the sauna all to myself. The studio also has a small weightlifting area and a shower for those who need to get ready after their workout. Everything is well-maintained, clean, and inviting. AFFORDABLE MEMBERSHIP Because there are no live instructors, the membership cost is very reasonable - especially if you get someone else to join you. Just know that your first month will be the most expensive since you'll pay an enrollment fee and have to buy their sauna-specific equipment (like a yoga mat and towel). LOVE IT I've been a member for over two months now, and I'm hooked! The 24/7 class schedule makes it so easy to fit in a workout no matter how hectic my day gets. Plus, the staff is super friendly and the whole vibe of the place is just perfect. TLDR If you're curious about HOTWORX, your first class is free, so give it a try and see for yourself! It's a unique and affordable gym that offers infrared sauna workouts with a wide range of virtual classes, perfect for busy schedules. Highly recommended for anyone looking to combine fitness with the benefits of infrared heat.

This is by far my favorite gym, ever!!! The infrared sauna workouts are a,"game changer!" If you are unfamiliar with the many health benefits of infrared saunas, or of infrared therapy, then I recommend doing some research & then, after you decide it's something that you would like to try, then HOTWORX is here, to provide you with an opportunity to reap the many benefits of exercising with infrared. It's a, "no brainer!" Amazing skin, shinny hair, less time in the gym & results that you will see & feel, in no time!! It's pretty chill at the Downtown San Jose location. I have never experienced a problem with over crowding inside the gym, however, it is located in Downtown San Jose & parking can be a drag. It is open 24 hrs & the staff is very helpful, friendly & accommodating. I was also able to find a HOTWORX during my recent trip to Albuquerque, NM. I was very happy to be able to keep my exercise program going, while visiting family out of state. Besides, parking, my only other gripe, would be that there needs to be HOTWORX locations all over the place, especially here in California and the Bay Area. I want them to all over the place and accessible to more people.
