To start the Bruschetta Trio was really tasteless. I've had better ones on the airplane. The free bread they served were a better choice when combined with the olive oil and vinegar. Fritto Misto is a better choice. Truffle Spaghetti & Meatballs is ok. I've had better pasta at Marcello's; though I would say I will have to try Italian kitchen's Cabonara next time. The tiramisu is one of the best I've had anywhere. They make the dessert in front of you. The presentation and performance itself taste good. The dessert really saved the meal. Zeppole kind of reminisce the Richmond night market dessert. The price of the place is reasonable. I will say my review score is unjustified as I have not tried many of their other dishes; the review is incomplete. Been here 4 times and would return to try other dishes.
I was recommended this restaurant, and I’m very grateful to the hostess for kindly changing my reservation time at the very last minute and accommodating me with a table. The place is absolutely beautiful — perfect for a romantic date as well as for friendly gatherings. The tasting menu was excellent. I truly loved everything — it’s rare for me to enjoy food this much, especially in Italian restaurants, but this was something truly outstanding. There is also a subtle truffle aroma throughout the restaurant, which I personally adore. The wine selection is very good, but the food itself is simply above all praise. The service was also great. Highly recommended.
A Magical New Year’s Dinner – Exceptional Service and World-Class Tiramisu We chose Italian Kitchen for a classy New Year’s family dinner, and the experience far exceeded our expectations. We were looking for high-quality Italian comfort food like pasta and lasagna to mark the occasion, and every dish was outstanding. Unbeatable Service: The restaurant has a beautiful, calm, and inviting atmosphere. A special thank you to the manager—a true gentleman—who personally resolved a complication with our reservation. His professional and kind approach ensured my wife, my son, and I had a truly unforgettable night. Unique Cocktails: I highly recommend their coffee-based cocktails; the flavor profile was like nothing I’ve had before. The Famous Tiramisu: The star of the week was definitely the tiramisu. Watching it being prepared with wine and fresh chocolate was a highlight. It is easily one of the best desserts in the city. This restaurant offers incredible value for the price when you consider the level of hospitality and the quality of the ingredients. I am already counting down the days until we return!
I would say the service is great and the restaurant vibe is pretty good. My saffron risotto was good but it lacked flavour, it was quite vanilla. The fettuccine Bolognese that was good. The drinks are decent but seemed like a little bit diluted usually when I get a boozy drink at a fine dining establishment that’s enough for me, but this one didn’t seem like it was enough
Me and my girlfriend came to Italian Kitchen to celebrate our 3 year anniversary and we were absolutely blown away with the atmosphere and service. If you’re looking to celebrate an event, come here as they make sure you feel special. Corey was our server and he had splendid hospitality. It was our first time here and he helped navigate us through our 5 star experience. We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 mains. Our favourite dish, the table dish pasta that we had. Everything came at a timely manner and the prices were fair for the portion size. I would definitely recommend to come.
