John Bello is everything you could wish for in a photographer. He shot our wedding this past September and captured photos that were beyond our expectations. But beyond incredible outputs, the level of professionalism and comfort that John brought to the photography process was deeply appreciated by my husband and I. He has a keen eye for the artform. Through lighting, colour, space, and position he brought out the best in us both. We've got the photos throughout our house now - we're just so very proud of them. Also, our guests couldn't believe how he captured all these fantastic photos without getting in anyones or any processes way. He's got spidey-like sensibilities - a huge compliment. He caught every elements of our wedding - people, place, decor, and of course - us! I would not hesitate to recommend John for anyone looking for a fantastic photographer for their wedding, particularly if you are a LGBTQ2IA+ couple. John was fantastic. Firstly, he has some really suave camera straps that act functionally but are a fashion piece lots of our guests commented on. Otherwise, the way he works is off of authentic energy. He really pulls out a lot of authenticity in photos, so all the raw emotion is captured in his skill. He guided us through our venue really well to capture some beautiful landscapes and environments, while asking us to candidly act bringing natural feelings out in the images. Our guests told us multiple times that they barely noticed him taking photos, which is exactly the vibe we were trying to achieve - it meant that our guests fully were present and John was slyly capturing moments along the way. He didn't miss a beat and seemed to always be there when things were happening. He would pull us off to the side - along with our guests in a discreet way to get photos, which we really appreciated. He also turned around a preview of a gallery of what's to come within 12 hours of the event ending - which was not expected and is a testament to his craft/our joy. The photos themselves were colourful, vibrant, airy, full of light and raw emotion. I have no doubt he will be doing some of our friends weddings in the future. ❤️
