After burning out as a yoga teacher in 2018 (I ran my own studio), I have struggled to reconnect with my yoga practice. Mainly this was due to not being able to find a place I connected with but also some person yoga baggage. This left me feeling like i've been missing something in my daily life. Enter Flow Yoga Canberra. This studio feels wonderful and community focused. The teachers here are skilled and mindful. They really know how to hold a space. My wife and I have done two flow classes which appear to be a blend of hatha and vinyasa styles. The sequencing is balanced and safe with the right amount of intensity. They were really enjoyable classes with varying levels of mindfulness, breath work and spirituality to suit different people. Suffice to say, I feel like I have found my new yoga home and look forward to going back. It will give me an opportunity to reconnect with my practice and in future hopefully my teaching. Thank you so much to the team ❤️ Two comments though, I was hoping to close practice with an Aum (we haven't done one yet) and wish an Ashtanga primary series class was on the timetable 😅 though these things are my personal preference 😊
I love this place... Odona is a skilful experienced instructor who picks up on how ppl are feeling and adjusts her approach. She has such a relaxing voice! The studio is warm, private and gorgeous, they have crystals in the lights at each corner! 🤯✨️😍
My absolute favourite yoga studio to date! I am beyond grateful to have found Flow Yoga Canberra. Odona’s classes are perfect for all levels; from beginners to advanced yogis. My partner had his first yoga class at Flow Yoga Canberra with me, when I started classes at the studio after 5 years of practing yoga myself. We both loved the atmosphere, style of teaching and the beautiful energy of Odona’s classes. Odona is always conscious of the needs of her students; reading the room to set the pace for each class and supporting students to grow their practice in their own way. I would highly recommend this class to anyone looking for a yoga studio or considering starting yoga! Thank you for creating such a beautiful space Odona! xx
I recently attend the Saturday and Sunday morning Flow Yoga classes. My partner and I absolutely loved the classes. The instructors provided gentle modifications for me (pregnant) and for my husband (yoga newbie). There are all different levels of yogini in the class, it's got a great vibe. The space is also very clean and cool.
Mi pareja y yo asistimos recientemente a una clase Flow de sábado por la mañana dirigida por Odona en la Nishi Gallery, mientras visitábamos Canberra. Practico yoga varias veces a la semana, pero esta fue la primera clase de mi pareja (en su vida). Odona fue muy acogedora y es una maestra maravillosa - la clase fue el equilibrio perfecto tanto para los principiantes como para los más experimentados. ¡Definitivamente recomendaría sus clases!
