had a very nice conversation with the man behind the bar, who seemed genuinely interested in the well-being of a stranger. the bagel sandwhich I had was exceptional and for 5.50 I thought it was quite reasonably priced. The 2.80 cup of coffee was a steal! Went back today hoping for a repeat and was selfishly sad to see the place closed for the holiday, but consoled greatly at the thought of the staff spending the day relaxing with loved ones.
☕ Koba Cafe: Cozy Vibes & Cookie Dreams 🍪 Koba Cafe is the kind of place that makes you want to cancel your plans and settle in with a good book and a warm mug. Tucked away like a secret you’re glad you discovered, it’s got that small, homey coffee shop charm that feels like a warm hug in beverage form. The hot chocolate? Silky, rich, and basically dessert in a cup. The coffee? Smooth and satisfying — whether you’re a latte lover or a straight-up black coffee purist. But the real MVP? That gingerbread cookie. Soft, spiced, and absolutely magical when warmed up. (Pro tip: ask them to heat it — they’ll do it with a smile, and you’ll thank me later.) Whether you’re catching up with a friend or just escaping the world for a bit, Koba Cafe is your cozy little hideaway. Don’t skip it. Don’t rush it. Just sip, snack, and soak in the comfort.
I ordered a Turkey BLT, which was advertised as coming with mayo, and I asked them to hold the tomato. When the sandwich arrived, it had honey mustard instead of mayo and included tomato. I also asked for honey in my tea, and they forgot to include that. The food was ok, but overpriced for the portion size. Despite all those mistakes, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The place was pretty packed out, with most of the people who were there when we arrived still lingering when we left.
The atmosphere was exceptionally warm, cozy and relaxing. Uniquely and thoughtfully decorated space for reading a book, getting some work done in communal space, having a conversation or even have a meeting in a private conference room. The menu options were amazing! The Berries sensation smoothie and the Mango Chicken Curry salad wrap were delicious! The staff is super friendly and warm. It’s a place I would love to visit again and again and spend quality time at.
Great service, the owner was super friendly and had a great sense of humor. Tried two chai lattes and a blueberry bagel with butter and everything was great. They have a beautiful indoors space this is a great place to get some coffee and food and get some work done on a laptop or do some light reading.
