I’ve recently moved over from London and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better first Muay Thai gym experience in Perth. From the moment I walked into Legends Muay Thai Academy, the vibe and energy were amazing. Huge thank you to Daniel and Jason for being so welcoming, supportive, and making me feel comfortable straight away. The rest of the team were just as friendly — such a great atmosphere to train in, whether you’re new or experienced. The sessions are high quality, motivating, and you really feel part of a community. I absolutely loved it and would highly recommend Legends to anyone looking to train Muay Thai 🥊
Great gym with awesome coaches and good vibes You’ll have all the support to learn very quickly in a friendly atmosphere but still the authentic experience of a martial arts gym.
Our two little boys, 4 & 6 are in week 3 of MMA training with Legends Academy and of all the sports we’ve tried with them, they are by far loving this the most. Hopefully their listening and focus improves as they improve their skills 😬🤞🏽. Legends has an awesome “feel”, like walking into a gym where each athlete is invested not just in themselves but in the organisation, it’s rare to see nowadays and is a credit to the owners and members. My son (11) has been attending Legends for over two years. During this time, I've seen his confidence grow exponentially. Legends offers a very family-friendly, supportive environment. Huge thanks to Daniel Dawson and his wonderful staff for mentoring my son.
100% Recommended. This the most people-friendly gym in Perth, with a simple value proposition: that you feel much better after you finished your session than when you started. A very simple, but effective offering of Muay Thai, Boxing and Strength & Conditioning. Doesn't matter your age, fitness level, your gender or if you have an accent, I can guarantee you'll have the best time. You make good friends too, regulars from all sorts of life to help each other achieving goals. I'm also very proud of being a member of a gym with a strong community component, that offers a young and a disability program. It has no price seeing their happy faces or how it changes the lives of young kids, taking them away from the drugs and bad companies by giving them something to look forward in life. Their coaching team is very professional, well trained and an absolute joy to train with. I have seen examples of gyms that put their own beginner members to coach after just one year of training. Squeezing your money is not their first priority and they prove it: it is affordable, with no lock-in contracts and they are very flexible to take special circumstances into consideration. And be sure that they will NEVER lock you in on a 12 months tricky contract or send the debt collectors to you (contrary to what other gym owners do).
