first time seeing jessica! i was referred to her by my previous stylist of 7 years (i would trust her with my life) and i couldn't have been happier. i'm really picky about my hair goals and have pretty specific direction- jessica did a bang up job (haha get it? bang) anyways, i'll be back and im super happy with my hair!
I walked into Length Extension and Color Bar with the same wife I walked in with… and somehow walked out with a different woman. Same name. Same wedding ring. Completely unfair glow-up. Michelle absolutely transformed my wife’s hair to the point where I felt a weird mix of pride, shock, and low-grade guilt — like I was cheating on my own wife with my wife. I kept thinking, “Sir, this feels illegal. You know her. You married her.” The color? Perfect. The length? Luxurious. The confidence? Through the roof. I’ve seen my wife look great before, but this was next-level, rom-com-entrance, slow-motion-walk energy. I’m now realizing I’ve been underestimating the power of professionally done hair my entire life. Michelle is clearly some kind of wizard. Or artist. Or both. She didn’t just do hair — she unlocked a new version of my wife that I’m going to be nervously competing with now. 10/10 would recommend. 11/10 would emotionally prepare husbands in advance.
I have worn tape in and glue in fusion extensions in the past and wanted to try hand tied extensions. I’ve been wearing 3 rows of hand tied extensions installed by Michelle & Shelby for the past 8 months. The extensions look natural and Michelle’s color blending and melting technique is unparalleled. Most people can’t believe I have extensions at all I receive compliments constantly. I love how easy they are to style and wear-even ponytails and braids! Michelle is so easy to talk to and was so transparent and thorough in the consultation that I felt so confident going in. Every move up have been easy and I feel great. Thanks so much!!!
Jess has done my hair dozens of times, and every single time I walk out feeling like I just got my favorite haircut ever. 💁🏼♀️ She really listens to what I want, while also using her expertise to help guide me toward the cut that works best for me. I always go to the Wash Park location. The salon is beautiful, cozy, and consistently clean, which makes the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for someone who is insanely talented, detail-oriented, and truly cares about their clients, Jess Borrego is your girl.
