Absolutely wonderful new location. There’s nothing like very short waits to see your doctor. When your called into a room you may get lucky to have a view across Quail Lakes lake. I waited all of 15 min before seeing Dr. Trevor Dolling and was done in 10 minutes or less and out the door before my actual appointment started. What great friendly service now from the front receptionist now. They were kind and polite. Nurse was also very kind and polite. She took great care in making sure she had my problems done on paper for my skin issues. Very professional team now.
I love LUX, Very professional, polite. The physicians I see are professional, and I’m comfortable with them. Front desk girls are professional and very nice to work with.
You'd think that any human being with any given problem is to be treated fairly and honestly by physicians. Well in my experience with Lux Dermatology, this was NOT the case. I normally dislike writing bad reviews about business, offices or otherwise because I understand the implications it has on business owners and doctors. But let me tell you, that my personal experience led me to disappointment and a bit of anger, hence my 1 star review. I'd give them half a star if I could. First off, I didn't get seen by a MD, but a PA (Rachel). Of which that appointment has to be rescheduled by the office for unknown reason. Before my rescheduled appointment I was asked to download their app and register my information and my personal medical history, etc. which I did. I showed up 10 mins early to the appointment and was seen 30 mins late. While I was waiting, they had me complete the same forms and then some of what I had done prior to my appointment through their app. Then the PA didn't show much seriousness to my skin issue and pressed me to go through with medication rather than my request/needs. And the cherry on top of all this, is the prescription they were going to prescribe, hasn't been. I called the office 4 days later inquiring of why it wasn't filled yet and they said they'd get in contact with Rachel and get back to me... Well 3 days later and silence. I'm supposed to see them again in two weeks to see if medication is working... Shall I go and waste my gas driving over 50 miles to a dermatologist office that has such great reviews? I guess I'm the lucky duck to have been treated so poorly as a patient. Thanks Lux! Appreciate the "wonderful" and "thorough" patient care I received and the bill my insurance company has to pay you. You win.
My first experience with Lux Dermatology was great. But having to try and book a second appointment just over a year later has been a huge disappointment. Calling connects you automatically to an AI assistant and when I try to speak to a representative, I’m asked to leave a message and they will call me back. They have yet to do so. Booking online works, too but I had a question regarding my reason of visit and I couldn’t speak with anyone. I messaged online and was able to get in contact with someone but having to wait for a response on that was equally inconvenient. Definitely disappointed and will be booking elsewhere.
Arrived a little early to my appointment, I was greeted cheerfully and called back to a room within 5 minutes. Sage confirmed my info in the room, prepped me for full body scan by PA Rachel Wood. Both young women were cheerful, respectful and helpful. I'm 74, have sun damage which they both excused by saying, we didn't know the damage sun would do. I had something tested, given instructions as to what and when to expect info, not once but twice. So appreciate that, I heard first time, but 2nd time sealed it in my memory. Very pleased with my visit.
