Highly recommend Mamma Lucy. Have been there for dinner and lunch and every time we go, we love what we order. The staff is friendly, educational and provide great service. Today (1/23/26) we enjoyed a delicious lunch: Chicken Parmesan panini with homemade chips; Meatball panini with homemade chips; an incredible crème brûlée and an Americano. Every bite was a burst of happiness. We also enjoy the fact that we can have a conversation without straining our ears to hear. Can’t wait to go to Mamma Lucy for breakfast.
We had such a great experience here! Our waiter, Chris, made the night. He was super friendly, funny, and on top of everything the entire time. We started with the burrata bruschetta and fried calamari, which were both fantastic, and for mains had the smoked salmon cream pasta and the short rib pappardelle, both were absolutely delicious. Chris’s energy and attentiveness to us really elevated the whole experience, and he’s a big reason we’ll definitely be coming back!
My family has eaten pasta in Italy and we all agree that the pasta here topped even the best restaurants we went to there. The atmosphere was lovely, the service was amazing, and the food was absolutely wonderful. I had the ravioli aragosta and it was truly my favorite ravioli I have ever eaten. I also ate some of my mom's fusilli all'arrabbiata which was delicious. My dad and sister got the gnocchi pesto and sorrentina. Everything was freshly made and very flavorful. For dessert I had the lava cake and my sister got the blood orange sorbet, both which were absolutely delicious. Overall I highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back next time we're in town!!
Came from Tucson to try this place and WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED. To drink I had the SOLERITA (yummy tequila cocktail). We had the Signature Trio pasta (Amatriciana. Carbonare. Cacio & pepe) all 3 absolutely delicious! If I had to pick my fave, I would say it was the cacio & Pepe. jessica was our server and we met the owner, Fabio. Fabio was AMAZING and told us about the menu and the restaurant (named after his mother). For desert we had the DIPLOMATICO (Pastry layers filled with Italian chantitlí cream) and it was an absolutely a delicious flaky delight. We had the lemon and orange limoncello, which was a delight as well. Definitely worth the drive. And I definitely plan to come back and try other things on the menu
We had a fabulous experience at Mama Lucy's! From the moment we walked in the door, everyone was nice and welcoming. Chris, our waiter, was exceptional! What a great guy, and he took such good care of our table of 7. He was charming and offered good suggestions too. All food was delicious. Like really authentic and tasty. That fry bread with burrata is a must! And we loved the 3 tier of pasta! I think 4 people could eat that meal. When in Scottsdale, eat at Mama Lucy's! You won't be disappointed . And thank you Chris for making our night so special!
