After calling and talking to multiple different flooring companies in San Diego, I can confidently say that Metro Flooring is the place to go to. Bruce, the owner, was incredibly knowledgeable and also conveyed the information from a place of wanting what’s best for us as opposed to just trying to get the sale. He was also able to really assist us in a time of potential crisis to get the flooring that we wanted in the timeframe that we needed it. My experience in shopping for Flooring was that it was very difficult to know if the recommendations that were being made to me were because it was in the interest of the flooring stores profit margins, or if the advice was truly for what was best for us. There’s no question here that Bruce cares about long-term customer satisfaction above all else in beliefs that that is what will lead to his businesses long-term success, and will prioritize that over short-term profits. Bruce also seemed to do a great job curating which companies and flooring manufacturers they carry.
We couldn't be happier how Metro Flooring, and Bruce Koren in particular, helped turn a burst pipe insurance nightmare into beautifully installed luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring throughout our condo. He was easy to reach whenever we had questions, provided all the information the insurance company needed, helped us secure the insurance company's paying for all connected rooms, not just the rooms affected by the water damage, and gave us dialog in dealing with the insurance company. On top of that, Metro's pricing made it affordable for us to switch from carpet to LVP, plus cover the area that was not connected to the damaged room without breaking the bank for what wasn't covered. I've included some pictures of the process. Highly recommend Metro Flooring.
I had to have the flooring in the home I rent redone, and had no idea where to start! Mike at Metro was there every step of the way to help make sure I got exactly what I needed at the best possible price. I'm absolutely clueless when it comes to remodeling things, and have a hard time with seeing color properly. Mike helped me pick out the correct color flooring to replace what was in the house before, and set me up with an absolutely amazing installer. I could not be more happy with how the floors turned out. The new floors are beautiful! I could not recommend Metro more! You're in the absolute best hands with Mike and his team!
Why would I go back to Metro Flooring? Because of Lisa L. I have several flooring shops within a mile of each other on Miramar, and I visited all of them. In all stores, Lisa L. stood above every store rep regarding offering great advice, was so kind, patient with my questions, and exceedingly professional, not just with me, but all others with whom she interacted in the store. Due to technical foundation problems that we need to fix first, we are delaying our purchase, but will engage with Lisa L. in the future as well as recommending her to my friends.
Metro Flooring knows how to delight the customer!! Lisa went above and beyond in assisting us in our carpet selection. Nat’s extensive flooring experience, knowledge and close vender contacts was a critical factor in helping us! Harold was outstanding in providing a timely, high quality installation with installers who were extremely focused on detail and craftsmanship which was the best we have ever experienced. In our view, Metro Flooring is the best flooring company in Southern California for quality and value!!
