A cool place, almost solved the Mad Scientist one with my group. I recommend not having more than 4 people in your group, but that's just my personal opinion. There's a few things they could fix, but overall had a good time for our first one!

One star review - first time at this place but not a novice when doing escape rooms. You only stayed in one room and the clues never completed a story line and didn’t actually help you in a sequential order. I am literally still stuck on clue number one - the color ribbons were in the order of periodic table but the symbols on the back of the cards - where were we supposed to find the numbers that corresponded to it!?! I still don’t know!!!! The whole experience was awful the clue giver should have just stayed in there with us. One star because the building it was in was creepy and could have been used better to create a more escape atmosphere. Place has potential and hope it can make some improvements!

Was worth the admission prize. I dont know what people are complaining about. The set pieces immersed me in yhe adventure. I enjoyed it and the price was worth the value and experience. The game was strict and i appreciated that. Further, it was a good challenge: no clues for the first 10. It was a hard room, but i loves the expert difficulty. My only critique is that one of my members in my party couldn't make it and i read the policy, but could that have bought us extra time or something? Great work

I was excited to try Room 5280 in Greensboro and support what seems to be a Black-owned business, but unfortunately, the experience fell short in several ways. First, the exterior of the property was not well maintained — the yard was overgrown, and with no clear signage and no designated parking, finding and entering the location was confusing and uninviting. The waiting area inside was cozy with fun games in the living room, which I appreciated. However, the actual escape room (“The Experiment”) was disappointing: • The TV for narration didn’t work, and the game master had to enter the room in person for hints, breaking immersion. • The clues were unclear, small, or faded, and the puzzles didn’t have enough context to reasonably solve. • The presence of Buddha statues used as part of the puzzle did not fit the science theme and, as a Christian, I felt uncomfortable and offended having to touch or interact with those objects. • We could hear noise from groups above us, making it hard to focus. • After the game ended, no photo opportunity was offered, and when I asked for a walkthrough of what we missed, the game master refused, which was disappointing. As someone who regularly visits escape rooms across multiple states, this experience was well below standard. I would honestly appreciate a refund, as this did not meet expectations, and parts of the room made me uncomfortable. I hope the business invests in maintaining the property, working technology, clearer puzzles, cultural sensitivity, and a proper post-game experience for future guests. I still believe in supporting Black-owned businesses, but I cannot recommend this escape room as it stands today.

I love escape rooms and have really enjoyed the half dozen experiences I’ve had until today. Went to the 5280 location in Greensboro and it was truly disappointing! For one the bathroom was dirty. I felt like I was in a gas station bathroom. When we arrived there wasn’t any type of welcome. The room was challenging (which was fine), so we asked for 3 clues and each time she took a while to arrive waisting precious time. When time was up, we thought she’d explain the clues and help us connect the missing pieces but she literally had no idea. I’ve been to the 5280 room in Raleigh and enjoyed it every time. Don’t waste your money on the Greensboro location!
