I did two photo shoots with Nilas and I heavily recommend. I came with very specific requests for two series of portraits and Michael went far out of his way to achieve the visions I wanted. Additionally Michael and his family were very warm and made the studio a welcoming, easy environment to be in. Michael is an artist and wonderful dude.

My sister and I booked a Portfolio Session with Michael to celebrate our birthday, and it was fantastic! I chose him for his work's moody, creative aesthetic, and he perfectly captured the subtly witch-like vibe we were going for. Michael is talented, has a great instinct for art and photography and was comfortable to be around. He has an organic approach that lets shots and ideas happen naturally during the shoot while still honoring your specific vision. After the shoot he sent over the raw images for us to pick our favorites and his raw images were so fantastic that I would have happily walked away with them as is! In fact I did request some of our final shots in both the unedited and edited versions. If you’re thinking of a photoshoot for any occasion but want something a little or a lot creative I highly recommend Michael and Nilas Photography.
