Oakland Wood Floors I was pleased they would come to San Francisco on a Saturday to give an estimate for work we wanted done. Gustavo left us with a neatly organized estimate and indicated a time frame for the scope of work; new hardwood flooring in one bedroom and four closets, besides refinishing the entire floor that included two more bedrooms and a hallway. The following week we accepted the bid and Gustavo promptly delivered the new red oak flooring on that Friday so it could acclimate over the weekend. Work started on Monday and finished three days later. The new hardwood floors blended in very nicely with the 100 year old existing floors at the project’s completion. We requested the StreetShoe-Satin water based coating. The floor preparation was not entirely dustless. I recommend covering furniture during this phase of the project. Baseboards may have to be touched-up at completion of the job due to scuffing by the sanding machine. In conclusion, I recommend Oakland Wood Floors due to their quick response in attending to my needs, the reasonable price charged and above all the excellent service and finished product they provided.

I liked the refinishing Oakland Wood Floors did on one of my apartment units, I had them refinish the original floors on our little craftsman house built in 1985. And I just love the way they look now! I'm posting photos! Our new tenants love them too. You folks do beautiful work. We watched your guys do their magic this time as we were working in the kitchen. It was crazy with the equipment and noise - but done methodically. Very nice crew!

Professional, efficient, and cost-effective. Hire these guys if you need wood floors installed, they gave a very fair price and did a great job! Very happy with my new floors, and glad I found them to do the install. The installer even went out of the way to pick up additional materials when we found we didn't purchase enough beforehand.

Had an excellent experience with Luis and his crew. Met at the Lake Merrit location and was provided with plenty of choices and excellent honest advice that would have led to a lower cost, but I opted to take the more expensive option anyway. Gaspar and crew we very professional and did a great job communicating and executing. The 60 year old oak hardwood floors at my rental property look brand new. The other reviews don't lie, and after a lot of work checking prices found they were the lowest and thus a no brainer to chose.

Thank You Oakland Wood Floors for the beautiful work! Our floors (the original oak floors in our 1920s home) were riddled with staples, old paint and worn. Now they have been restored to their original glory. Luis was our consultant and he was very friendly, honest and patient as he explained the process and pricing and answered all of my questions. His team completed the job (our living room and hallway) within a day. This included staining and making repairs. My husband and I will definitely go back to this company-we plan to restore the floors in our other rooms at a later date.
