I'm 25 years old and have trained at this dojo on and off for close to 15 years, and I can confidently say it has been one of the most positive influences in my life. The instructors here are truly exceptional - extremely knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about what they do. Their teaching style strikes the perfect balance between lightheartedness and seriousness, creating an atmosphere that is both welcoming and motivating. It's easily one of the best dojo environments I've ever experienced. The Sensei deserves special recognition. He is genuinely one of the best people I've ever met. His ability to teach students of all ages and skill levels is remarkable, and his storytelling is something I look forward to every single class. He brings wisdom, humor, and perspective that stick with you long after training ends. This dojo is a place to learn, grow, and be part of an amazing community. Highly, highly recommend.
Noticeable difference in our kids’ focus outside of the Dojo. Sensei, Mr. Steve, Mr. Joe, Mr. Snavely, Miss Veronica, and staff are awesome with little kids.
This place is the best! My 10 year old comes here Tuesday and Thursday and I can’t say enough good things about our experience! I have a shy, antisocial, and at times awkward kiddo!!! My son had never done anything like this before and honestly doesn’t even really liked to be touched (especially by strangers-hahah) but, when he’s here, he comes out of his shell! The instructors are wonderful! They seem to focus on long term goals, form, and discipline. The owner is attentive to your needs and the price is great! I can’t tell you enough how lucky we were to have found this facility!! It’s wonderful can’t recommend enough.
My son absolutely loves this class. All of the instructors do such a great job working with the kids building confidence and teaching focus. He has grown from a shy kid that was timid around other kids to making friends and having fun. Highly recommend this place for kids of all ages!
I recently enrolled my daughter at this karate dojo and I am very impressed with the quality of instruction and the sense of community that the dojo provides. As a former student of the same sensei, I knew that my daughter would be in good hands, but I am still amazed by the level of skill and expertise that the sensei brings to each class. My daughter just received her white belt and she is already showing great enthusiasm for developing her skills further in this program. The instructors are patient and encouraging with the kids, and they do a great job of making each class both fun and challenging. One of the things I appreciate most about this dojo is the emphasis on character development and respect. The sensei teaches the kids not just how to perform the physical movements of karate, but also how to behave with integrity and honor. Overall, I would highly recommend this karate dojo to anyone looking for a safe and nurturing environment for their child to learn martial arts. My daughter is having a great time and I am confident that she is learning valuable skills that will benefit her for years to come
